Okay...latest word guys...we really want to get this tourney past the 70 person mark...crossing the 69 over to the 70 person threshold will have the following amazing effect on the prizes.
1st place will become an UNLIMITED LOTUS instead of a beta pearl
2nd place will still be the library of alexandria
3rd place will no longer be an arabian nights city of brass...it will be replaced with a mint ALPHA BERSERK
4th place will still be a Arabian Nights city of brass
5-8 Will still be a morphling
Rather than do 7 rounds cut to top 8...I will do 6 rounds...cut to top 16...This way for 9-16th will be for a FREE BOOSTER PACK(hey...it's better than nothing )
Also...what will I do with that extra Arabian Nights City of Brass you ask
After round 2...anyone who has started 0-2 can drop and enter a free side tournament (same format as main event,...type 1 with five proxies...using their same deck) single elimination...winner takes the CITY
Its almost like a second chance tourney!
But remember...all these things happen only if we cross the mark from 69 to 70 people(our last two events had 58 and 62 consecutively).

Yes...Urza's Child...if it comes to that I would not stop someone from doing that...as a matter of fact he could pay for someone else to play...and even take advantage of part of the entry fee going toward all the other stuff by throwing 2 cards in the card throwing...getting an extra turn in magic trivia, having a second entry for the rafflee...etc...since he payed twice.

I would love to go to this tournament. How far away is Waterbury from Boston? This will be the first weekend after finals. YIPEE!!!! Seriously how far? Also are proxies allowed? Mine are quite slick looking but I don't want to be dishonest. Scan wise you could never tell, thickness wise they are slightly worse than foils. If not I might need to borrow some cards. I is a po' law student.

WOW, My calender trys to be WAY too useful, on saturday it says Mother's Day (M) and on Sunday it says Mother's Day (C, US), I checked to see if I could go on Saturday and saw Mother's Day and didn't look twice. What would compel a calender company to think that people who purchase a calender in the US would want to know holidays in different countries?
Anyhow, things don't look quite as grim now, but I still might end up needing a ride.
BTW around what time are these usually over? up to the top 8 / 16..... and completely done.
