UG Madness with Tog? Heh, ive actually thought of it, i doubt its very good but i would still be interested in seeing his list. Maybe someone from NG can post it, as the store should have it on record.

I love NY. 4 keeper in the top 8 despite today's metagame, and thats with two of the keeper staples Matt D and Mike P away.

Heh I tried this in Type 2 because I wanted a better madness outlet than Aquamoeba.  It was alright.

As did I, I found it wasn't worth the pain. The tog was never that amazing in it and the third mana for the madness outlet was really annoying.

Anyone know what the mono blue looks like??  I'd like to know how it managed to wade through all that GAT.  Makes me wonder about the GATs.

Hey

I'm Nick Detwiler - and I was playing Keeper.  I've come to the wonderful conclusion that I'm never going to play Keeper at NG again, primarily because:

1.  BBS has a good matchup against Keeper
2.  I played against four rounds of control, and one against the worst R/G deck I've ever seen in T1 - and I don't like playing control v control unless I have a hell of an upper hand.
3.  I played against Andrew Bove, and everyone from Eric Wilkinson to Brian Reilly to J. Lander will agree that he topdecked like an absolute God (it started to really piss Wilkinson off - I watched the match.)  No offense to him, but he didn't really understand the stack that well, was playing a bad list for Keeper (I think he took Mikey P's Venice list, added some of his own stuff and played that) and if it matters, he didn't remember to use his Drain mana againt me, or Wilkinson (and subsequently burned for quite a bit.)
4.  I can outplay bad aggro players.

By the way - everyone who's looking for the T2 UG Madness with Tog list, don't.  I helped Max build the deck, and it was a complete pile of shit.  The only reason why Max Brown was there was because he thought it was a team sealed event.  And it was t1.
I hate Keeper right now.  Its a fine deck, probably the best in the environment.  And I hate it.
And for Smmennen - Yes, I do know what the mono blue looked like - because it's my deck, and I lent it out.  Its a pretty typical BBS list that runs Factories.  If you want more info than that, PM me and I'll give you a list when I get a chance (Jay Lander took down at least two Keeper players - and even managed to beat Gro in the tourney before losing to Gro in the second round of t8.)
I hate humanity right now.  BTW, you forgot to put Scott McCord in the event - he was playing Trix.

Later,

Prospero

I put Scott McCord in the first list I posted. His deck was interesting and Wilkenson (another trix player) seemed to like it though I don't think it is as optimal as rector trix. Yeah I do suck I guess I have to change my Avatar.

Scott McCord ussually plays rector trix, I've seen him play it a lot. Are you sure he was playing draw seven trix, because thats kind of odd for him.\n\n
