Tournament Location: T & T Collectables, 367 Russell Street Hadley MA
Start Time: 12 Noon (we usually start about 20 mins late)
Date: Sat May 17th
Format: T1, swiss rounds, cut to top 8
Prize: Unlimited Mox Ruby. (It is likely that you will be able to take a pearl instead, but this is not garanteed yet.)
Fee: 10$
Dopeness Factor: 20.89 (thats really good).
Special Rules: 5 Proxies of any card
A lil short notice, but its all good.
Also, we just got about 6 new tables and sets of chairs, so space is no longer an issue.

Chuck why do you even post in this forum? If I look over EVERY tournament for the last 6 MONTHS... you just say you can't go. You should only post under the rare occasion that you can go since we already know that you aren't going to show up.

As much as you all know I wanna be there to represent after the amazing showing I had last time, I will not be able to make this. One of my older brothers is graduating from RPI this year. I will be at his graduation in NY on the 17th.

i don't feel bad for brian "i'm a magnet for power" phelon missing this tournament. it would have been nice to beat the crap out of his sorry attempt at U/R, but i'm sure i'll get another chance next month (or in NH). i'd like to know who's coming from RI and CT though. Also, if people have tundras for trade bring 'em!
nick, does terry have any new policies we should be aware of, i know he's been switching things around.

The prizes for these things have gotten way better since the first one or two if thats what you're talking about. Its just been the smaller tournaments that have gotten slightly smaller prizes.
Regarding food, you can still eat food, Rich'll just have to cope ( ).

Well as I said before I'm not gonna be making this. So good luck to my fellow Hadleyians. I say that Steve (GI) is gonna take this one home unless he runs into Sam in the finals.
One thing I believe is that if you go to a tournament, the most important thing to do is be prepared. Last month a very awesome deck won this tournament. It was made and piloted by a very awesome guy too. Me. Just for reference, here is what won last month's tournament:

I was second seed not playing EBA, but Urphid instead, not that it matters.
Urphid is completely awesome though, it went 7-1-1 vs groatog in my hands (4 rounds of it, when will the hype end?) and beat me in the finals (which was a little bit strange I must say, but Im not gonna go through describing it).
Now I have store credit, woohoo .

Kuei was playing the top 8 Stacks, which wasn't Stacks.
He's a returning old skool player.
Workshops, Ancient Tomb, Rishadan Port, Sphere Of Resistance,
Icy Manipulator, Kill Switch (does the rest of his stuff untap when this does?)
Masticore, Karn, Cathodian, Steel friggin' Golem.
I think this deck was pretty much there to Sphere Of Resistance Sam out of the tournament.
Beat him in the Swiss, beat him in the top eight.
So Summen Saugen wins Mox Pearl two weeks in a row?
Zherbus should find one for him to win next week.
