C&J's 6/12 Results

20+ people this week, many of the Usual Suspects were in attendence.

I finished an unremarkable 3-1-1, good for 5th.  My draw was with naCihv (running ABM).  My loss was to Dave (webster, unreg), in which he taught me that Deed for 2 utterly destroys Academy decks.

I would have you all note, however, that if I were playing with 4 x MURDOLONT, they would shrugged off a Deed for two and promptly come for the Void player's nuts.

Play of the night:

Me: Float 30+ mana with Mind over Matter.  Play Impulse.
Opponent:  In response, Abeyance you.
Me: In response to your Abeyance, Meditate x 2, Impulse x 1, Ancestral, Stroke you out.

How lucky!

Yay for Fishhead.  He is some player, that Fishhead.  

I'll post my report, hopefully tomorrow.  And I brought my digital camera, so I may even have some fuzzy pictures of various things.  I should have gotten a picture of the whole enchilada; 20+ people all sitting down to play with the Magical Cards.

I finished 4-1 with GroAtog.  My only loss was to Fishhead, playing Rector Trix, which seems to be a bad matchup for GroAtog with all of its broken cards backed up by a LOT of disruption.  Congrats to Fishhead for the victory.

Hrm, I was going to post pictures, but I am having trouble pulling it off.  Maybe I should PM Zherbus or someone about it.
