Ok, I'm building an unpowered Oath deck for type 1, and so far, here is my first draft.  I know it may not be that good, just try to spiff it up some so it's tournement ready (local shop tournement   ):

LANDS:

4 Yavimaya Coast
1 Undiscovered Paradise
1 Strip Mine
7 Island
10 Forest

CREATURES:

1 Morphling
2 Spike Feeder
2 Spike Weaver

SPELLS:

4 Force of Will
1 Misdirection
4 Counterspell
4 Mana Leak - (no I don't have any Mana Drains yet)
2 Back to Basics
2 Capsize
2 Fact or Fiction
4 Oath of Druids
1 Regrowth
4 Gaea's Blessing
4 Sylvan Library

First of all, any suggestions would be appreciated.  I think that the mana base is off, but what the hell, it's only a first draft.  Help me make it better!

FoF is restricted. You definitely want a few brainstorm. 2, maybe 3 blessings max. You certainly don't need _4_ of those.

-1 of each spike. You want to be able to quickly cycle through your creatures to find THE right one; while they can all kill themselves, you can only bring 1 creature in play/turn.

You might want to have a few living wishes, to call some creature from the SB (creatures CAN be hardcasted Wink

Hey there, try the list below out for starters. It has more search and countering ability so it should be more resilient. Also, I wouldn't maindeck Back to Basics unless you see LOTS of duals in your meta. Finally, if you see lots of aggro, take out one of the Misdirections or Mana Leaks and add a Masticore. This should run a little more smoothly.

4 Force of Will
2 Misdirection
3 Mana Leak
4 Counterspell

4 Oath of Druids
2 Gaea's Blessing
1 Spike Weaver
1 Spike Feeder
1 Morphling

3 Impulse (helps dig, is good)
2 Brainstorm (helps you get out of sticky situations by putting creatures and/or blessings back on top of library)
2 Sylvan Library
1 Stroke of Genius
1 Fact or Fiction
1 Merchant Scroll
1 Mystical Tutor
1 Regrowth
2 Powder Keg
1 Scroll Rack
1 Capsize
1 Tormod’s Crypt (secondary win condition if all your creatures are removed)

1 Sol Ring
1 Strip Mine
4 Tropical Island (these are pretty important, get them if possible)
2 Yavimaya Coast
2 Forest
11 Island

SB: 1 Woodripper (vs TnT)
SB: 2 Naturalize
SB: 2 Tranquil Domain (if you see parfait)
SB: 3 Ophidian
SB: 1 Capsize
SB: 1 Spike Feeder
SB: 1 Teferi's Response
SB: 1 Misdirection
SB: 3 Back to Basics

Why not 2 Capsize's?  1 Seems too little a number.  This deck does look better.  Anyone disagree?  Please comment now on that deck, as that's the one I'm working with.

Thanks

With merchant scroll and mystical tutor, you can get capsize if you need it, plus you can use the buyback, or recycle it with blessings--1 should be enough.

The scroll rack and tormod's crypt look a little random--why is crypt a "secondary win condition"? you have blessings to deck them (and scroll rack too, if you are desperate).

The rack is only good if you have oath working--if you don't it's basically worthless. Another impulse would probably be better, as it can help you find your oaths to begin with.

Would it hurt to put in a Living Wish?  It could be helpfull, as someone metioned it above.  I could get a Morphling from my sideboard and cast it if I'm desperate.

Any more comments from anyone on the deck above would be greatly appreciated.
