I have a tourny coming up and since no one at this tourny will be playing sligh I thought that I would shock everyone and not play stasis (as I normally would, I like making people mad) and play sligh.  I kind of went through most of the common versions of the sligh decks out there right now in type 1 and threw this together.  Its a pretty basic sligh, and no one around is going to expect it, and therefore not sb for it.  The metagame in my area is pretty random, although most play either aggro or nether go with white ween thrown around.  I would like to get some insight on how you think this would hold up against those decks, and if you have any suggestions on what would make the deck better.  I will respond to responses if you ask for some more info. Thank you.

Deck List:

Creatures-
Grim Lavamancer x4
Mogg Fanatic x4
Guerilla Shaman x4
Jackell Pup x4

Mana Source-
Mountain x17
Dust Bowl x3
Strip Mine x1
Rishidian Port x4

Too much mana (cut some rishadins)
Too many Gorilla Shamanns and Lavamancers.
Where the Cursed Scrolls at?
Fireblast, Ball Lightning?

Too much mana maybe a good point, but as far as cursed scroll goes, in my meta it doesnt stay on the board for more then a turn, if you can get it out at all.  I really didnt feel like wasting 2-4 slots on a card I maybe only able to get out 1 out fo 5 matches.  As for ball lightning thats another card in my meta that when casted will die.  I've seen people, even myself, go through a lot work getting one of those off the board.  I play tested it a couple of times with the ball lightnings in there, and it rarely seem as affective as me being able to hit you with 2 points a damage from the lavamancer for at least 4 turns a game.  The Guerilla shamans i threw in there because there is enough power in my area to warrant artifact destruction without me plaing shatter storm and what not.

I would definately add fireblast (3 probably) and chain lightning (4) to the maindeck, and lose the pillages (good for sideboard though) and ports. You may want to trade 2 of the dustbowls for wastelands too, which are much faster.

Good suggestions, actually great.  The chain lightnings where allready in there, just forgot to post them.  But I wounder what should bounce from my SB for the pillages.

Okay, heres a quick update on the sligh deck as it stands now.  I feel the biggest addition will be the Ankhs.  I think in my enviroment the Ankh is less likely to get countered or target as the scroll will.  But I took the great advice you had and made the changes, and I still look foward to some more info if you want to dish it out.

Decklist-

Creatures-
Grim Lavamancer x3
Mogg Fanatic x4
Guerilla Shaman x2
Jackal Pup x4

Spells-
Lightning Bolt x4
Chain Lightning x4
Incinerate x4
Wheel of Fortune x1
Fork x1
Fireblast x3

Artifacts-
Ankh of Mishra

Mana Source-
Mountains x17
Dust Bowl x1
Wasteland x2
Barbarian Ring x3
Strip Mine x1
Ghitu Encampment x2

Sideboard is still the same at this point.
