This deck list should probably be in "Seriously Casual", I think, but I'm not registered (yet). This deck is for a tournament at Bingeman's in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada. The format is 100-card decks (minimum) with no sideboards and no Power 9. Otherwise, it's pretty much the same banned and restricted list as Type 1. The tournament is open play for the first 3+ hours (usually there are over 100 players). The Top 32 players with the best record in 10 or more games (not matches) advance to the Master round, while the remaining players are placed into the Apprentice round. The tournament then becomes best 2 out of 3 elimination matches. I've made some changes to the deck since I played it at the last tournament. (I finished with an 8 wins, 2 losses record after the open play, but I was a dumb ass and went to lunch without handing in my score card. Thus, I was bumped down to the top of the Apprentice round and eventually lost 2 games to 1 to a R/G deck I really shouldn't have lost to.)

Why TWO anarchist? I know that such Oath decks run two of their card in case they draw one, but with 40 more cards I would think the chances of drawing your one little creature (and no Brainstorm-type card to put it back on top) would be slim enough to let you get away with just the one.

Matt,

This is a single-minded, "suicide" type deck. My only win condition is the Pandemonium-Saproling Burst "21" combo (or attacking with Saproling Burst tokens). While I can hard cast the combo, Oathing up an Anarchist, as early as turn 2 or 3, makes this deck. While the chances of drawing a lone Anarchist, having a lone Anarchist come up before it stocks your graveyard with combo components, or a lone Anarchist being one of the last cards in your library may be slim in a 100-card deck, it still warrants a second Anarchist IMHO. (But then I always played three Gaea's Blessings in my Extended Oath decks instead of two...)
