I'm having a tough time beating Parfait, i'm wondering what types of decks/strategies are most effective against it, without having to resort to using a combo deck.

Pernicious Deeds work pretty well, especially against the versions packing only one Replenish. Also try mass-enchantment sweepers, like Tranquility and its spawn, or Harmonic Convergence (I assume it's the enchantments that are making your life difficult).

Allay and Shattering Pulse (fetchable via Cunning Wish) are currently giving Parfait players headaches.

I've had limited success with Deeds, yet the build i'm struggling most against runs 3x Replenish, 2x Claws of Gix (to fizzle my buyback stuff), maindeck Karmic Justice (to combat mass removal), as well as 3x Aura of Silence.

Anybody ever tried Presence of the Master? I find this extremely funny, especially if Parfait runs only enchantments like Seal or Aura fo enchantment removal ...

Well from playing against mono white for years now, between white weenie and parfait here are the tips I can give ya.

Puschkin: if you look at my tourney report I ran it in my sideboard specifically against parfait!

Suicide Black: Hit them hard and fast.  Swing with the reavers, they will have to swords something eventually.  Discard is god against them.  Kill all their lands that you can.  Who cares if it lets them tax, you need to keep their mana below 4 so the bombs don't come out.
SB: Dystopia is great.  Gloom is god if you get it out quick.  Thran Lense is the tech.  Keg is great for sweeping their artifacts and killing the ponies.

Sligh: Throw it all at their dome!  Hold nothing back cast all your burn as fast as you can.  USe the shaman to eat their arfticats as quick as you can.  Hit their mana before you worry about zorb.  Sligh is one of the few decks where I reccomend trying to screw their land tax by not only dropping lands you need or fireblasting them to lower your land count.
SB: Anarchy or Thran Lense.  Pillage is great or rack and ruin.

Stompy: Actually this can be a great matchup since you can screw their entire land tax engine and they will often have no blockers.  If they get to 4 mana and are still alive, you are dead though, cuz the bombs will be dropped.
SB:naturalize or emerald charm.  Lyrist sucks since it can't kill humility.

TNT: While fat is good, shaman and welder can win the match for you though.  Shaman shots the 0 casting cost stuff, welder then swaps it for their racks, they get the 0 back, shot the zero again.  Beat with the beaters.  Memory jar during their turn with a big ole tax hand after they have racked.  They will have to dump a bunch of lands and then cannot play all the cards they racked into.
SB:Naturalize and Jester's cap.  Cap their mesas and blood moon on the first.  Hit the racks on the second.

Keeper: Misdirect their chants back at them.  Mind twist will win the game.  Against a skilled parfait player this is actually a very hard matchup.  Get the morph out quick and pound them.  Always make morphling untargetable at the beginning of their upkeep so they don't try to make up waste mana by casting multiple STP in response to each other.
SB: allay, pulse, Presence of the Master (hey Albert!), Misdirection.  Shaman.  Aura fracture.

All in all I would say the best deck to use against parfait that would still be able to compete against the field is some Aunkh Sligh build or NetherVoid.  Maskanaught is an option also but if you don't go off or you stall they will recover.

Aunkh sligh would probably be the best option.  Thran Lense is a great sideboard card.  Stops all the cop's and story circle.  Anarchy removes them, and it can be great against keeper that runs celestial dawn in their side board.

My current attempt is going to involve Reanimator.....
1st or 2nd turn Multani puts them on a decent clock ....
use discard to disrupt them and hopefully kill them before they get to 4 mana

@Whitetrash - your post was very informative, thanks for the info
