I search and search, yet I find no good-looking versions of B/G Void that I'm interested in looking into.  I know I want to play either that or regular Void, but I at least want to playtest B/G Void online before I make my decision.  Does anyone have a competitive B/G Void deck?

I've been playing around with B/G void for a little while and it's my opinion that until something else comes out in green; B/G void is just a metagame build against TnT.  The keeper match is functionally the same, except for those games where the keeper player draws into several wastes and slows you down enough to pull ahead.  And any aggro deck that has a solid mana denial sub strategy (sligh, zoo, stacker) will usually give you fits.  The only match I've found the green to be useful in is TnT.  Mono Blk handles most everything else well enough.

These were the two builds I tested out.  The first is a version that had some success in germany and the second is basically a mono blk build with a minimal splash for deed only.

Green Splash for Blurred Mongoose and Deed:

4 Hypnotic Specter
4 Phyrexian Negator
3 Blurred Mongoose
4 Duress
4 Hymn to Tourach
4 Sinkhole
3 Nether Void
4 Pernicious Deed
1 Necropotence
1 Demonic Consultation
1 Demonic Tutor
1 Yawgmoth's Will
4 Dark Ritual
1 Black Lotus
1 Mox Jet
1 Mox Emerald
7 Swamp
4 Bayou
4 Llanowar Wastes
4 Wasteland
1 Strip Mine

Green Splash for Deed Only:

4 Hypnotic Specter
4 Phyrexian Negator
4 Duress
4 Hymn to Tourach
4 Sinkhole
3 Nether Void
4 Pernicious Deed
1 Necropotence
1 Demonic Consultation
1 Demonic Tutor
1 Yawgmoth's Will
4 Dark Ritual
1 Black Lotus
1 Mox Jet
12 Swamp
4 Bayou
2 Llanowar Wastes
4 Wasteland
1 Strip Mine

Of the two I liked the mongoose version better b/c of it having a higher threat count.  I suppose you could try to fit factories into the second version, but I didn't really like it enough to explore that far into.

Overall, I wouldn't say that either of these decks are competitive in a broad field, but could be if you saw a lot of TnT.  Hope this helped a little.

4 Hypnotic Specter
4 Nantuko Shade
3 Blurred Mongoose
4 Duress
4 Hymn to Tourach
4 Sinkhole
3 Nether Void
4 Pernicious Deed
1 Demonic Consultation
1 Demonic Tutor
1 Yawgmoth's Will
4 Dark Ritual
4 Mishra's Factory
7 Swamp
4 Bayou
4 Llanowar Wastes
4 Wasteland
1 Strip Mine

Would this be a decent test-ready version?  I have no power, but I can get about anything else.  I took out Necro for 2 reasons, one being that I don't like using Necro in a deck with painlands, even if they are only 4.  I also needed the room for Mishra's Factories.  I took out Negators in favor of Shades because my metagame is mostly aggro, so Shades are a better option against aggro.  This would probably be a sample SB for this deck:

4 Phyrexian Negator
3 Scragnoth
2 Null Rod
1 Necropotence
3 Dystopia
2 Contagion

Please help me if I seem to be really screwing this up.

The only thing that might be considered wrong with your build is the mana base.  You're relying on a lot of nonbasics and that can be problematic when you run into things like blood moon without a deed on the table.  Couple this with the facts that you're already vunerable to wasteland and that removal spells/direct damage become 1cc sinkholes against your factories and you may find yourself running into more problems than the splash is worth.

What kind of decks do you see normally?
