~NOTE~This is not a decklist, and I apologize in advance. However, since I cannot register to post in the correct forum, I have to post here. Deal with it. ~/NOTE~

     After days of tedious binder sorting, I got to thinking again.. what kind of deck would I like to build that would reflect my personality? Then it b****-slapped me with a chrome-plated barracuda: Red/White. However, there's not much regarding R/W besides the same old About Face/x, Holy Tommy Gun, or Astral Glide decks, but it does have something quite unique. Redirecting damage.

     I need some ideas for a damage redirection deck. Something that says, "Don't f*** with me, or you're gonna hurt just as much". I've hunted the internet for possible ideas, and have pondered over many a file on my computer, and all I have is a small bald spot from scratching my head.  Anyway, Any help would be appreciated, as I go back to school Friday. I'm not begging for help, I've just exhausted most of my resources and I need some extra brain power.

There's not really much damage redirection involved, other than maybe Honorable Passage in a sideboard, but Hammer/Post was one of my favorite Mirage era T2 decks.  It's still fun as a casual deck today.  Basically, you need:

3-4 Hammer of Bogardan
4 Thawing Glaciers
2-4 Fire Diamond
1-2 of the white diamonds (I forget what they are called)
4 Swords to Plowshares
1-2 Incinerate/Lightning Bolt
4 Kjeldoran Outpost

At least 24-25 land, including 4 Plateaus
Maybe some Onslaught fetch lands
maybe a Jayemdae Tome, etc.

I stress, this is not competitive at all in any format that I know of.  (In fact, because of the Alliances cards, it is only legal in T1 and T1.5).  But it is fun.

Mogg Maniac? Works with Kor Shaman, like the about face deck (life? I think that's the name for it).

@Exeter: That's a tried and true deck, and it looks good in casual, but it's lacking The WTF Factor™. Yes, it is a fun deck to use, and I have used it quite a bit in one alteration or another, but I need a new idea.

@Zug: Mogg Maniac and Shaman en-Kor? *scratches beard* I think that I might use it... possibly.

Hmm.. The WTF Factor™. That's what each idea needs. Something so out of the ordinary, so bizzare, so... WTF? that it would make your opponent go "...Wow. That just royally sucked." Something that hasn't been done before, but is so strange that it needs a second going-over.

[Pseudo-Edit: Something like Reflect Damage (Mirage), Soltari Guerillas (Tempest), or Captain's Maneuver (Apocalypse).]

Reverse damage is pretty insane...for 1WW, you get to redirect the damage to your opponent. Iti s ESPECIALLy good vs. Mask. Dreadnought attacks, I gain 12 life, then I plow it..

        3 Captain's Maneuver

        4 Pariah
        4 Mogg Maniac
        3 Shaman en-Kor
// Quick Removal
        4 Lightning Bolt
        4 Swords to Plowshares

A double post, I know. *commits hari-kari, but rises again due to a Life3 spell*

Another deck that I have, a bit better than the last. It runs on the Citadel of Pain + Manabarbs + Sphere of Law combo, which should be somewhat accelerated from the Land Tax. besides that, it's quite basic, using Shadow creatures as the backup kill conditions (as my meta is populated with the buggers). I only use it in Apprentice right now, as it's the easiest to build decks in, but I might get the real cards eventually.

// Mana
        7 Mountain
        7 Plains
        4 Plateau
        1 Mox Pearl
        1 Mox Ruby
        1 Black Lotus
// Combo
        4 Citadel of Pain
        4 Manabarbs
        4 Sphere of Law
        1 Enlightened Tutor
// Power
        4 Soltari Crusader \
        4 Soltari Guerrillas  > for unblockable damage
// Removal
        4 Lightning Bolt
        4 Swords to Plowshares
        3 Disenchant
// Drawing
        4 Land Tax
        3 Scroll Rack
