I play in an unpowered metagame with a mixed selection of decks. Most of these are aggro such as sligh, suicide and g/b. My Gro deck, while successful in games against blue based control and combo, has had a very rough time dealing with sligh and G/B. I am looking for maindeck changes that can improve my chances against these aggressive overwhelming decks.
My gro deck:
-4 Quirion Dryad
-4 Nimble Mongoose
-1 Morphling
4- Force of Will
4- Misdirection
3- Counterspell
3- Daze
4- Brainstorm
4- Accumulated Knowledge
4- Gush
1- Fact or Fiction
3- Powder Kegs
1- Regrowth
1- Naturalize
4- Land Grants (Still trying to get search lands)
2- Flooded Strand
4- Tropical Island
7- Island
1- Forest
1- Sol Ring
Please dont make suggestions of power cards or other cards which cost more than $30 dollars. Thanks.

Maybe drop the mongooses (or is it mongeese?) in favor of a bigger dude? Werebear has always been popular in gro decks.

I have tried both the werebears and mongese out in this deck. I have found that the 'gese are an improvement because they can see play faster and don't require counter back up against burn and other targeted removal. However, I have considered adding more threats at the expense of counter or draw spells, but worry this will weaken the strength of my dryads. Has any one tested this out?

I play in an almost identical metagame....I also play control currently (Stasis, not Gro)
A lot of the big things you can do are in the SB. Chill makes it VERY difficult for sligh to do anything. Douse is a reusable counterspell against sligh also (MAD card advantage though it doesn't feed your Dryad)
Bounce is strong against aggro. True suicide isn't too bad, but the heavy disruption version is a bad time for control. Against any kind of stompy/beatdown deck, Hibernation rocks the world.
Maybe 1 fastbond maindeck? It shouldn't be hard to pick up and when you draw it you'll be glad you did. It can make the first turn much better for you. Maze of Ith could help...but it's probably a lot harder to find. Impulse over Accumulated Knowledge? You have to ask yourself how often does Accumulated Knowledge acutally give you card advantage in your average game? If you feel like you cast it 2-3 times every game keep it....if you cast it 1-2 times, switch it out.
I've always been a fleeting image fan...though it's not terribly popular. You could add another Morphling also.
Obviously some of the better card choices are cash prohibitive. The Time X cards in Gro help out a lot....but everything works better with power. Let me know what you come up with.

He forgot to mention that he loses to parfait...
When i played him IRL the only way he got damg through was with the mongeese, if he had played the bears i had 2 swords just itching for targets. Shiv, i think you should use slight of hand as i said before, and i know your going to try them inplace of the AK. And... since I know you have a fastbond, since i got it for you, u should at least try it and see how it does. Since i don't seem to count in our meta, you should just try it vs steve and ben since i guess i am the irregularity. See ya. Oh, i forgot to say that i think that you should either finish making the oath conversion sb or you should put in some red and black hate. Like compost and chill.

If you're having trouble with aggro, I suggest playing U/G/w. This way, more StP can be used, and you can use mystic enforcer. I'm a huge fan of this card, as it is KILLER vs. sui or any other black based deck (with the exception of Mask). Also, it helps w/ parfait, as you have more access to disenchant type spells.
