just a rough idea

"The Woz"

4 Oath of Druids
2 Serra Avatar
2 Armadillo Cloak
4 Pernicious Deed
4 Swords to Plowshares
4 Force of Will
3 Misdirection
4 Arcane Denial
4 Brainstorm
3 Enlightened Tutor
3 Gaea's Blessing

4 Tropical Island
4 Tundra
4 Savannah
4 Windswept Heath
3 City of Brass
3 Treetop Village
1 Mox Diamond

The idea behind the villages is to attack with them if the opponent plays no creatures

There are 15 Blue spells including 7 pitch spells

I was thinking about trying to fit in some lifegain for fun and for avatar-pumping

cloak your avatar for a ridiculously large, trampling avatar

It is named "The Woz" after my friend, Chris Wozny.  Please don't change the name

any suggestions?

You have too many enlightened tutors. It's restricted in T1, and banned in T1.5. (I assume this is a T1/1.5 deck because of the StPs and Forces)

Pernicious Deed is 1GB. You have all of 4 black sources.

Also, 15 blue cards is barely enough to support 4 Forces--you'd need over 20 to really support mis-d's as well.

Arcane Denial is just bad. It lets your opponent draw cards. It's also not extended legal.

And oathing up an avatar isn't so great. What if they've been attacking you for the past few turns, and then cast a couple burn spells at your head? an 8/8 or 9/9 avatar isn't so scary. They can also StP is, or just not play creatures for a while and kill your villages with wastelands or removal.

Diamond Valley would be   with avatar/oath. Not only will it net you life to pump your avatar, but it send it back to the library in response to a StP or other bad removal. I would also drop the armadillo cloaks, and replace the deeds with powder kegs (fixes mana problems).

I suggest removing the Armadillo Cloaks and Serra Avatars in favor of more control oriented creatures such as Spike Feeder, Spike Weaver or Morphling.  In general, creatures in an Oath deck are able to sacrifice themselves in some way, making the Cloaks not very useful if left in the deck.

I understand your original intent with the Avatars and Cloaks, however, so if you still want to go that route then Phantom Nishoba would be worth trying in one of the creature slots.

As j_orlove noted, you will probably have difficulty reliably casting Pernicious Deed.  Powder Keg would be a good replacement for some of the Deeds.  His other suggestions are right on, too.

Hope this helps, and good luck.
