The deck that I am running is very similar to OSE. It splashes red for Gorilla Shamans, Fire/Ices, Shattering Pulse, Red Elemental Blasts. One problem that I am consistently having is dealing with enchantments. I run Capsize, but the problem against Earthcraft or Parfait is when they can use a Seal of Cleansing to fizzle my buyback. Also, against Full English Breakfast or TnT, my counterspells are overloaded so the Survival almost always sneaks through. Here are some of my thoughts on how to deal with enchantments.
1) Splash white for Aura Fracture. The problem with splashing white is that I am already splashing red. That and the fact that I run Mishra's Factories means that I would have a lot of problems getting the right lands early. So far, while testing, my deck could not support both white and Mishra's Factories and the Factories are something I am not ready to get rid of. If I did, I would end up with a suboptimal version of Keeper because I still lack some of the components (that are not so glaring when leaving it out of OSE). 2) Splash white, but drop red. I wonder if anyone tried this yet. Gaining Balance, Swords To Plowshare, COP-Red, and Aura Fracture seems like a good deal. However, losing Red Elemental Blasts and Gorilla Shaman seem like a big negative when trying to face other control decks. Also, the Fires have the possibility to take out multiple aggro creatures. I don't think the benefits outweight the drawbacks. 3) Aura Flux and Energy Flux. If you can't stop it, tax them for letting them keep it. The one that taxes enchantments seems futile against Earthcraft or Parfait because they can simply disenchant it away. However, the one that taxes artifacts seems like a good option against TnT. However, I think it might be too narrow to take up a slot in the sideboard. 4) Washout - I think this card has some potential as it will force the enchantment-heavy decks to "rebuild their fortress" which you can hopefully counter one or more key components this time around.
So what do you feel is the best way to deal with enchantments?
