I have played sligh amoung my friends for many years now, however due to geography I have never been to a serious tournament. My metegame is filled with aggro, 1/4 sligh (not including me), 1/4 PT Funk, plus various fatty decks and a metagamed suicide deck. I am intersted in any ideas people have tried in their decks to deal with aggro in general, sligh in peticular. This is my build:
4 Mogg Fanatic
4 Jackal Pup
4 Goblin Cadets
4 Lightning Bolt
4 Chain Lightning
4 Incinerate
3 Fireblast (Not enough non Basics for POP)
1 Fork
1 Wheel of Fortune (Works well with Fireblast)
4 Ankh of Mishra
4 Cursed Scroll
1 Black Vice
4 Wastelands
1 Strip Mine
17 Mountain
A few Notes:
The wastes most often hit Mishra's Factories which black decks in my environment run instead of Wastelands (really bad Meta). The Ankhs can be really good, because many decks use searches.
Any tested ideas would be apreciated.

Um...if you're specifically trying to battle aggro, if Goblin Cadets a good idea? They are best in a heavy control environment, and bad against other creature decks.
Not sure what you're running in the side, but Pyrokinesis should definitely go in against heavy aggro. Fire (from Fire/Ice) might be worth it as well if you could consistently get two-for-one trades from the card, whether maindeck or side.

I would run Ball Lightnings over the cadets if the meta is high aggro. Cadets are not good at all in high aggro meta's. The 3 mana for Ball Lightnings can be hard but I think you will like them over the cadets if you test it. Not giving your creature's away = good thing.

Firstly i'lld like to say your build is pritty nice already, but it seems at the moment more taliored towards a control filled metagame.
The Anhk of Mishra has recently been employed to gain back some of the power it loses to control decks. Anhk of Mishra punishes decks which need to function on alot of land, i.e most control decks. Also it hurts Fetch lands and stops Dragon totally. However against over aggro decks which commonly run on 3cc spells or less won't take the big damage form Anhk like the control decks will. Therefore i wouldn't think it optiumal to run 4 Ankh in a aggro filled metagame, unless you expect fetch lands to be run in everydeck. Still it makes a fine sideboard choice verse control/oath/turboland/dragon ect.
The next thing i'lld like to quiz you on is why cadets and Pups? Neither, espically cadets are good at the creature/creature melee that occur in the aggro verse aggro match. There are several others creatures available that you can consider for the aggro metagame.
Goblin vandal: if you see alot of Powder Keg, which i expect you do if you metagame sees alot of sligh and stompy then this is your answer to it. It works with Scroll unlike null rod whilst it can Stop Keg from doing the dirty on you. if pushed it can also destroy zuran Orb and Ivory Tower, or even mox. Vandal is Gurrilla Shamans counterpart verse Aggro. Although if you see alot of mox Shaman is strickly better since it can destroy multiply mox the turn it enters play( often termed wrath of Mox)
Ball lightning: The reason ball lightning is often never run in morden sligh is A: its a potential mana drain target B:open to destruction form cards like Swords to plowhares C: It puts a massive demand on your mana curve forcing you to include more red manasources if you wish to accomadate it. However in the metagame flood with stompy then ball lightning can be considered a viable choice, potentially burn a creature and player with 1 card, but piont C still makes a big impact on your deck.
Mogg Maniac: potential very good verse aggro, i trialed them for a short period and found them very effect against Jugdenoughts in stacker.
lastly: Grim Lavamancer, Very effective at making use of your gravyard after fireblasting. I usally target my opponent with lavamancer, but i leant my sligh deck to friend and found he target Solely creatures. The result was rather effective as he could always save its burn for the player knowing that he will he fueling lavamancer. Still i also found that these little diamonds are the target of creature removal time and time agian if they stay on the table long enough to be effective (not very long agianst mirror)they can rack up quite a bit of damage.
Why are you running Wastelands verse aggro if there is not enough Non basic lands for price of Progress? You could consider Mishras factories but these can interfer with cursed scroll and can be targetted by Wastelands themselves. Or Barbarain ring. The rings are tempting against aggro arguebly they are uncounterable and colourless, but pain you for most of the game and don't work well inconjuction with Lavamancer if you choose to run them. I found they simply wern't worth running, rarely did i reach threshold before i killed by opponent.
another contradiction i'lld like to piont out is if you play most against aggro why black vise?
In conclusion here are the changes i would make
1:cut Jackal pup for Goblin Vandal
2:cut Goblin Cadet for Mogg maniac
3:Cut Anhk of mishra for Grim lavamancer
