I've been running Mask for a while and after three point two million test games I'm sick of it, and I'm looking for something you don't see quite so commonly.

I've decided to go with Reaplace, and although graveyard hate can annoy Psychatog and TnT, I feel it's pretty good and I'm confident with it.  However, I need the assistance of those reading to help me choose which direction I want to take my build.

The two paths that look most likely right now are straight up disruption (Duress, Wasteland, etc) or control based (card draw, counters, maybe powder kegs).  I've built small trial versions of the deck in both directions and I can't really decide which is best.  Does anyone who has played either form of ReapLace have a say towards either side?

You may want to consider something similar to this; it's what the very few experienced Reap players have been using:

ReapLacement Killers 2003

4 Intuition
4 Force of Will
4 Accumulated Knowledge
2 Prismatic Lace
2 Cunning Wish
1 Ancestral Recall
1 Time Walk
1 Fact or Fiction
1 Merchant Scroll
1 Mystical Tutor
1 Timetwister

4 Reap
1 Regrowth
1 Sylvan Library

4 Duress
2 Deathlace
1 Demonic Tutor

1 Balance

7 SoLoMoxen
1 Tolarian Academy
4 Polluted Delta
2 City of Brass
3 Tropical Island
3 Underground Sea
2 Bayou
2 Tundra

SB:
3 Tangle
3 Naturalize
1 Reclaim
1 Interdict
1 Misdirection
1 Abeyance
1 Vampiric Tutor
1 Deathlace
1 Stroke of Genius
2 Morphling

I'm concerned about the mere four laces in your maindeck.  Can you try to explain some of the card choices to me?  Thanks.

Why make him work hard and write an essay about every card slot? Which card slots are you questioning and why?

I'm mainly concerned with what feels like a shortage of lace slots, and what feels like could never win a counter war against any of the current Tog based decks, Keeper, Gro, or BSB.  Also, using Balance in the deck doesn't really make sense to me.  With all that card drawing it's not doing anything useful unless your opponent has a horde of baddies, and even then you're just killing your hand to kill a few guys when they're more likely to get more threats than you are to get more card drawing.
