Well, I heard there was going to be a T1 prized on Magic-League (http://www.magic-league.com/ , they hold free tournaments online with real prizes, and even have ratings)

This was the first prized tournament I had enough time to play in, so I loaded up my deck. Here it is:

//NAME: Sheepstealer Fish
SB:  1 Waterfront Bouncer
SB:  3 Energy Flux
SB:  2 Suq'Ata Firewalker
SB:  1 Null Rod
SB:  2 Blue Elemental Blast
SB:  2 Chill
SB:  1 Misdirection
SB:  3 Maze of Ith
        3 Null Rod
        1 Time Walk
        1 Ancestral Recall
        2 Misdirection
        4 Curiosity
        4 Standstill
        4 Force of Will
        4 Cloud of Faeries
        4 Rootwater Thief
        3 Waterfront Bouncer
        3 Gilded Drake
        4 Flying Men
        1 Mox Sapphire
        1 Strip Mine
        4 Mishra's Factory
        4 Faerie Conclave
        4 Wasteland
        9 Island

I won't go into an explaination of that right now.

First off, on Magic-League I am Jenneke, not Thissa... theres a fairly long story telling why that is, but I won't go into that now.

Anyway, I got on to my computer, waited a few minutes, and the pairings were up.

R1: Dragon.dec played by MTGMan, 2-0

Game 1:
Alright... this game starts off well. I lay down early beats and disrupt his mana base. Then I drop Waterfront Bouncer, nullifying his win condition.

Game 2:
Here I resolve a very early Waterfront Bouncer and then lay down several Standstills before I swing for the win.

R2: Parfait, played by Wyern, 2-1

Game 1:
I get him down to 5, but while this happens he baits my Force of Wills with Story Circle, etc. Then he drops Ischron Scepter imprinting an Orim's chant. I have a Misdirection and a Null Rod in hand, but he has an Aura of Silence and he proceeds to Charbelch me for the win after Land Taxing his deck out of everything but a few Plateaus.

Game 2:
This game is similar to the first except that he never gets the Isochron Scepter - Orim's Chant lock down.

Game 3:
Ah... this one was tough. On his second turn he drops the Isochron-Orim's chant lock, but I have a Null Rod. Then he drops Sacred Mesa. I Wasteland his Plateau, and attack. He is forced to tap his two plains to keep his Mesa alive. He plays another land and passes. I Strip Mine, and attack. He plays another land and passes. I attack for a few turns, with one more land than he has, and he doesn't draw into one. He draws into a Land Tax while he is still at 13 however, and he threatens to win with Pegasi. But, I play Wasteland and destroy my own Mishra's Factory. He never draws into another land.

R3: Mono-Black Void, played by iforget, 2-0

Game 1:
He draws into a LOT of disruption, but doesn't play any creatures. Despite all of his disruption I eventually beat him.

Game 2:
In this game he disrupts for a while but eventually drops a Necropotence, a Nantuko Shade, and a Hypnotic Spectre. Over the course of a few turns he Necro's himself down to one life. However, I just drop a few creatures and pass my turn. He taps out to cast Contagion, but it forces him to chump block my Mishra's Factory with his Nantuko Shade. I draw into two Faerie Conclaves and win.

R4: Stacker 3, played by mogg, 2-1

Game 1:
I go first, playing a Faerie Conclave. He knows what I'm running, so he drops a first turn Chalice for two. Then after I counter his Juggernaut he brings out Goblin Welder and Goblin Charbelcher. Mommy...?

Game 2:
He plays a bunch of artifacts including several moxen and a Charblecher over his first two turns, but I drop a Null Rod and Wasteland his Mishra's Workshop. He gets out a Su-Chi and beats me down to a dangerously low life total, but I get out two Mishra's Factories as blockers. I counter his Goblin Welders and beat down with fliers until he loses.

Game 3:
I drop both Null Rod and the Waterfront Bouncer - Gilded Drake combo, getting his Goblin Welders and his Juggernaut. I win shortly thereafter...

By this time I am in the top 3. One player will get a bye and the others will fight it out to enter the finals. I don't get the bye though

R5: Abyss, played by SNK, 1-2

Game 1:
I strip out all but one of his land sources and cast Null Rod to negate his moxen. Left with only a Gorilla Shaman, he cannot deal with my attackers.

Game 2:
He gets out The Abyss. Then he gets out Morphling.

Game 3:
This is possibly the closest match I've played in my life... He drops the Abyss fairly early, but I have a Mishra's Factory. He can't get rid of it, and I get him down to 7 with it before he finally tutors for a Wasteland. I may have made a play error here, as after getting into a large counterwar over the resolution of the Vampiric Tutor, I finally let it resolve even with another Force of Will in my hand. I knew he was going to get Wasteland, but since I had drawn another off a Standstill that turn I let it resolve. Still, I may have won the game if not for that. So He Wastelands my Factory. I draw into a Faerie Conclave and play the second Mishra's Factory, but after dropping to one life he Wastelands my active Factory and REB's my Faerie Conclave. I drop two creatures in hopes of defeating him next turn, but he Fact or Fiction's for a Morphling and defeats me.

Anyway, Props to all the magic-league judges for running a great site to play.

Posting logs is useless.

Posting logs involving opponents playing with suboptimal decks and/or decklists, with a lot of misplays/rules errors/etc... is even more useless.

Oh, and those are unreadable.

Posting Sorry 4 times is also pointless...the first time was more than enough...
