Okay, so I was goofing off one night when I should have been studying for a test and a friend of mine and I came up with this crazy decklist to use w/ Goblin Charbelcher.  It looks like the biggest pile in the world at first glance, but give it a try and tell me what you think.  It's great fun.

4 Goblin Charblecher
1 Demonic Consultation
1 Demonic Tutor
4 Spoils of the Vault
1 Vampiric Tutor
1 Yagmoth's Will
1 Ancestral REcall
1 Mystical Ttor
1 Time Walk
1 Tinker
1 Enlightened Tutor
1 Black Lotus
4 Cabal Ritual
4 Chromatic Sphere
4 Chrome Mox
4 Dark Ritual
4 Elvish Pirit Guide
1 Grim Monolith
4 Lion's Eye Diamond
1 Lotus Petal
1 Mana Crypt
1 Mana Vault
1 Mox Emerald
1 Mox Jet
1 Mox Pearl
1 Mox Ruby
1 Mox Sapphire
1 Sol Ring
4 Talisman of Dominance

So are you cursing and laughing slighly now at how insanely stupid looking this deck is?  I would be too if I hadn't written the article, but it is a fun deck and something worth toying with and exploring for the upcoming environment where combo isn't as insanely broken becuase of all the restrictions.  Sure there are a lot of mana sources, but they are necessary to get the full effect of Goblin Charbelcher.  And the insane amount of tutors are there the obvious reason of getting the Charbelcher out and active as soon as possible.  Yes I know there's no disruption or protection in the deck, and that the deck would get raped by Chalice of the Void, but give the deck a try before you go off flaming it.

I think it would be wise to stcik with belcher + severance. Just looking at this, Null rod kills you, period. like other decks (long, wMUD, etc.) are hurt trmendously, but they can bounce back. you have NO way of dealing with rod, unless you win 1st turn, which requires 7 mana.

You can also put only one land in your deck : Tolarian Academy.

This deck is irregular because you can have a turn one kill or several mulligan with full mana hand.

You could put the draw7 set in your deck (wheel, Twister, Mind's Desire, Windfall) and drawer (Brainstorm, Ancestral Recall) to make your deck more regular.

Besides Chrome Mox and LED will be restricted since next January.

Thanks for the replies guys and the insite...

@ Clown:  Yeah, I wish i had the time to put together and test out a deck w/ Mana Severance in it.  But as for now this is what I have together, mostly for shits and giggles...  I know it rolls over to numerous cards including Null Rod, Duress, Chalice of the Void, and Force of Will.  I know the deck is like 80% mana or whatever.  But I think you're missing the simplicity of the deck in getting the Charbelcher out and using is as soon as possible.  Yes, the deck can win on the first turn and does so more consistently than Long.dec goldfishing.  By bouncing back, I hope you mean getting through the first wave of defense...  if that's the case the deck is fine w/ 10 tutors, Ancestral and Will PLUS the Charbelcher itself.
@Subaru:  I know the cards will be restricted soon, thus the limited time offer subtitle.  And putting Academy and the Draw 7's in the deck only dilute it when all you ever need is a tutor of some sort to get into your hand.

I know the deck is really vulnerable to a lot of things, but nobody in their right mind would expect jank like this at a tournament and would most likely not be well prepared for something like it.  The sideboard is where some tools may come in handy to keep you alive long enough in game 2 or 3 to get your combo going.  Some cards I've given thought to are:  Force of Will, Divert, Duress, Annul, Blue Elemental Blast and Stifle.

I'm sure there is a more consistent deck w/ protection but as far as going straight combo I believe this is the fastest deck to play before Jan. 1.
