Searching through archived posts

Is there something wrong with the search function on this site that doesn't allow you to search through the archived forums?  I tried 3x and couldn't get it to work out

I don't think it works at all. You have to actually go and look for the thread in question.

And there's a lot missing from when the ikonboard people didn't back up everything. It's actually kinda tragic.

Yes, the search feature does not work on the archived forums, I have no idea why. It's on my list of TODOs... maybe I'll bump it up.

That's why it takes me so long to pull links for everyone (from the archives)--i do it by hand.

Okay, as I type this in, the search tables are being recreated. It's going to take awhile but once it's finished everything should be searchable. I'll update this once it's finished to let everyone know if it worked or not . (It's averaging 100 posts everying 10 seconds.)

Update: It's done. Everything should now be searchable. However, searching on the author names won't work in the archives, there's nothing I can do about that.
