I have some spare money to burn on my unpowered sui-black deck and my dilemma is this:
I have enough money to buy:
not-so-great condition lotus
good condition jet
4x nether void and make a conversion to unpowered void
-------------------------
What do you guys think the best decision would be?  I'm leaning towards the beat-up lotus as it would be able to go into any T1 deck I make and would be more versatile.  Thanks for your help in advance.

Take the lotus. If the lotus is going to be the same price as as good condition Jet, you're getting a great deal. If I'm misinterpreting this information, Lotus is still the card to go with.

If the jet is a reasonably priced mox, and you can get a lotus for that much then you should definitely get the lotus. A lotus can be traded for....anything or sold if you don't want it!

A jet is nice, but I wouldn't buy nethervoids they are ok, and I have never seen a void deck play four (usually three).

Best of luck.

I know you would have more fun Yawgmoth's Willing a Lotus than a Mox Jet.

Agreed, definitely go lotus! The reason being:

1) The Lotus is a bargain if it's at the same price as a Jet.
2) You can ALWAYS get rid of a lotus for at least a mox and then some
3) The lotus gives you 3 mana + 1 in turn 1 versus 1+1 with the jet. GO LOTUS!
4) Yes, willing a Lotus is something that just brings Style (TM) to your game Smile

Everyone suggesting Lotus is right.  Lotus has the highest transferability and is generally the most difficult card to get.  Go for the Lotus...you will never regret it.

sounds good, the lotus will probably run me about $75-$100 more than the mox, but it'll still be a good deal.  thanks much!

Iam seriuosly wondering why anyone would sell a lotus for, if a mox costs around 250, 325 dollars, even if its US... grab the lotus before anybody does

you get the most bang for your buck using lotus, in addition it is played in basically every arctype and therefore is the most transferable. It also is easy to sell if you ever get out of the game, but why would you do that.

a beat unlimited lotus will go for almost if not 5 bills every time and the prices on power goes up every year.....if the lotus is less the $500 scoop it up.
