First and foremost, I'll admit that this deck is a jumbled mess which, quite frankly, sucks.  However,  it does seem to have the potential to be explosive, given the right hand, and that's with only my rough skeleton.

Basically, I wanted to expirement some more with Food Chain, and the most obvious color to mess around with was green.  In many ways, green has similar synergy with Food Chain, by way of searching-creatures, as well as ridiculous mana production in the right circumstances.  Taking that into account (as well as my admitted bias for fatties... I'm still a noob at heart!), I decided to try to work something involving lots of elves, including [card]Skyshroud Sentinel[/card], and [card]Nesting Wurm[/card] for the finisher.  Given the Elvish nature of the deck, I thought Skullclamp would also be a fairly good draw engine, but I was also toying with replacing them/supplementing them with Scroll Rack.  That said, here's the list:

Mana:
10 [card]Forest[/card]
1 [card]Gaeas Cradle[/card]
1 [card]Mana Crypt[/card]
1 [card]Sol Ring[/card]
1 [card]Chrome Mox[/card]
1 [card]Lotus Petal[/card]
1 [card]Crop Rotation[/card]

Engines:
4 [card]Skullclamp[/card]
4 [card]Food Chain[/card]
4 [card]Concordant Crossroads[/card]
3 [card]Aluren[/card]

Creatures:
4 [card]Elvish Spirit Guide[/card]
4 [card]Llanowar Elves[/card]
4 [card]Fyndhorn Elves[/card]
4 [card]Priest of Titania[/card]
4 [card]Skyshroud Sentinel[/card]
4 [card]Nesting Wurm[/card]
3 [card]Timberwatch Elf[/card]
2 [card]Fierce Empath[/card]

At the moment, it's somewhat of a jumble between an Elvish base and a "search for 3" creature base.  Possible conversions would be fitting in some [card]Wirewood Hivemasters[/card] and the like, or going more in the other direction and  finding the space for [card]Howling Wolf[/card] and perhaps [card]Pack Hunt[/card], or taking it in another direction entirely.

So, comments, thoughts, suggestions?

Im not really sure about any specific deck right now but i agree that the card food chain seems to have potential outside of FCG which of course is a very good deck. One possibly idea i had would be to create a large chain of creatures with search and cast a massive hunting pack. That is purley specualtion and the difficulty in making this type of deck is you have the standard of FCG to live up too. Also the stacking ability of goblin recruiter is what really breaks food chain so although a deck like this is not impossible it will be very difficult.

I definitely considered Hunting Pack, but I decided that the mana cost was prohibitive, as I'd need something along the lines of Aluren + Concordant Crossroads going, without the ability to use Food Chains to cast it.

Thats true maybe it could be an alternate win? It could be like in FCG where you can either go for straight beatdown or the combo route and your combo route would be hunting pack.
