As locals may already be aware of, Sytupal, who works @ the gathering down on the Cape MA, informed me recently that they will be holding a bring your own creature type tourney. restriction is one must have 25 or more of that creature and no less. Sytpual is planning on playing Djinns and I thought I'd think up some cool creature type to play. Since Sqwerel ain't an option, I thought that it would be cool to play the incincible Angels!!! Yes, needless to say, Angels would kick, but the problem is that theyre expensive and slow to get out. I know it might be more effective to stampede with elves or goblins but I'm determined to show up with a cool Angel deck. Any ideas on how to make Serra's gang faster and more deadly? Here's a list of angels (white ones since they kick the most): Akroma Angel of Mercy Angel of Retribution Angelic Protector Archangel Avenging Angel Blinding Angel Exalted Angel Glimmering Angel Haunted Angel Herald of Serra Luminous Angel Pristine Angel Reya Dawnbringer Malesse Spirit Seraph Serra Advocate Silver Seraph Sustainer of the Realm Tormented Angel Voice of All Voice of Duty Voice of Grace Voice of Law Voice of Reason Voice of Truth Warrior Angel Serra Angel Wayward Angel Quite the selection. I think using some fast ones (exalted) in conjunction with invincible beatstiks (pristine) would be utter fun. Your Thoughts? Peace  |

Djinns would rock the house if nobody decides to pack City in a Bottle or Sulieman's Legacy. If I were to drive all the way to the cape however I'd definetly be packing the pimpest djinn/efreet deck ever.

Guys~ as of right now these tournaments are free. so we can get them off the ground. however, would anyone be interested un coming for these tournaments if we were to offer prizes/ entry fee? Much like the "Artist" format this allows people to take a break from the competition that is type 1 and begin a competitive format that is much different. PS: I also have a Minion deck in the works |

I want to get in on this, but I haven't thought up a suitable creature type yet. In the past, I've played Clerics and Skeletons as casual decks, so I know I can think of something.

Skullclamp makes the best decks (goblins and elves) that much better. It also helps white. Engineered Plague means playing some horrible creature type like zombies or myr or something.
