As promisied here is my report
Pre tourney bullshit:
First off for the past month i've been playing mono-black dragon and in testing i found out it dies horribly to control, so being in new england i smarten up and decide that this will be a bad choice. In response I build three color hulk with maindeck back to basics and a full compliment of strips after testing i like it but playing on cape cod i fear the dragon so I need a new gameplan. I start digging on tmd and morphling.de and discover the maddragon! I've been playing dragon for a month now and I been playing madness for fun for over a year so it looks like a good idea. It has the early must counters for control and there is alot more aggro running around and best of all it gives me something to do while waiting to combo out.Anyway enough of justifying to myself why i play bad decks here is the good stuff
round 1: Local playing a workshop/smokestack deck
game 1: he plays metalworker and a handful of stuff.Third turn hellkite nukes him for roound 1,000,000
game 2:he plays early smokestack and by the time it goes away he's left with nothing but a metalworker and me with nothing but a null rod,good for me bad for him. long and short couple of turns later dragon goes in,dragon comes out,hellkite nukes him for a bazilloin.
round 2: Eric playing slaver (aka the deck that hates me)
game 1: eric is like a bus with no brakes and rolls over me
game 2: same as above but this time he slavers me goes infinite throws away all my critters and beats with platinum for the win.
round 3:unknown opponent playing mak(I think)
game 1: my wastes mess up his early game and i animate dragon and hellkite nukes him for a gazillion.
game 2: In between the match he bitches about not seeing blue so I sit on my wastelands till I see trops, dragon goes in and out before I can find a taiga but i do have survival on the board.Anyway my deck pukes out every creature in it and I pass the turn.He draws and says good game.
round 4: unknown opponent playing scuicide blue
game 1:we swap early beats i get early an dragon/animate and hellkite nukes him for a gazillion.
game 2 pretty standard dragon game except i lose to myself when I go infinite and tell him what happens next he stifles and asks me if I burn to death alot of confusion takes place and I scoop and say my fault no such thing as infinite my mistake I can take a loss for being a bad player.
game 3: ealy beats back and forth i animate w/o red and my deck pukes out every creature in my deck hand i pass the turn he draws and concedes showing me his hand of double infest when he only has 2 swamps on the board ,wastelands are tech
round 5: local guy mike
we look at the points and find uot we can both ID into the t8 so we play for fun

greg with some kinda workshop deck(too many variants can't keep them straight)
game 1: God i love the dragon
game 2: his first turn crypt really sucks and goes mental on turn 2 or 3 jars like 500 times and can't turn enough guys sideways to get me yet next turn he jars another 500 times and finially gets enough through this is why i play type 1 i love that broke off shit
game 3 : he deosnt see crypt and i see dragon. see game 1
fight for finals
I i look at the brackets and see i gotta play eric again (fuck)
game 1 : lizards and wastelands keep him busy i play stuff he counters stuff he scoops at 4life
game 2: I play turn 1 lizard second turn null rod with a hand dragon/animate/null rod and i feel good. His third turn he bounces null rod back to hand and I don't see another turn due to slaver lockdown.once again this is why i play type 1
game 3: see game 2
fight for 3rd sorry don't know my opponents name playing slaver recursion
game 1&2 : slaver recursion owns me
So fourth place prize was a pizza and that makes me fat dumb and happy and for anyone who care here is the deck that I played.

Congrats dude. No offense to you, but if that thing ever wins a New England tournament I think I'll crap my pants and cry myself to sleep.
Oh, by the way, I was the guy on the "Your Mom" roll all night. Nic Sage made it way too easy. Like even easier than his mom.

As much as this deck should never work, it surprsingly does more often than not. Animate has such good synergy with that deck its just not funny.

Ya it was a good time. and I appriciate all the great comments on my janky deck (thanx kowl)I personally think with a little more work it could really have potential.Anyway if anyone is interested in some playtesting on friday night for the tourney on sat. me and my crew should be there by 9ish in centerville.If not hope too see all your smilin faces in ct.
