The DCI just released the B&R Lists.  They decided to leave all the formats as they were.   It Looks like the DCI feels that the Type1 format is thriving and healthy.  I agree.  I wonder if Workshop and Baghdad are still on the "Watch" list?

workshop just isn't a total house yet.  The card sucks and should never be banned.

Ha.  That was a load of crap.  What the hell was wizards thinking, restrict the workshop.

The "watch list" really doesn't exist any more seeing how it doesn't actually do anything.

Great decision to leave the list untouched. The environment is just perfectly healthy in the moment with so many top tier decks. Here in Europe by far no deck is ruling the top8s. Workshop Decks are around but not dominating at all. Just some long restricted goodies could have been given a comeback.

April 1st.

Imagine they decided to pull an April Fool's joke on everyone.

"April Fools!  You thought we'd leave it alone!

Seriously, we restricted Mishra's Workshop and Bazaar of Baghdad.  Yep, you all just paid horribly inflated prices."

I too am glad that nothing was restricted.  I enjoy having many viable options, type 1 is currently rather fun.

It is a shame that portal wasn't legalized, however.  Maybe next time.

I doubt Portal's ever going to see play if it isn't now- but I guess it's possible.

I'm pretty disappointed nothing was UNrestricted- i.e. Fork, Voltaic Key, Braingeyser, Doomsday? Earthcraft? Not entomb though- people who say it can be unrestricted quite frankly speak out of their ass.  Sad

A problem with some of the portal cards is they say "play this only after you have attacked before you declare blockers".  These cards are sorceries though and this is impossible.  There are many sorceries that are supposed to be instants.  They would have to change the set.

They have Oracle wordings for everything. All cards are compatible with the rules.

This thread is full of unsubstantiated indignation. Closure, anyone?

This is truly a pivotal moment for modern type one as we knew it.

Oh wait, that was last year. Yeah, this thread isn't going anywhere. Closed.
