Hi, this sunday we had a very big tournament, we were 134 people (was a no proxy tournament as we always do here), there were about all type of decks, i played as usually Tnt rg, i changed some cards cause last tournament i was 2° but the deck didn't convinced me totally!

4 wooded foothills
3 taiga
4 forest
1 mountain
4 wasteland
1 strip
4 mishra workshop
7 solomoxen

4 welder
1 squee
1 anger
1 gorilla shaman

4 juggernaut
3 su chi
3 solemn simulacrum
2 triskelion
1 karn
1 platinum angel
1 duplicant

1 uktabi orangutan

4 sotf
4 chalice of the void
2 sylvan library

SIDE:
3 reb
3 sphere of resistance
3 blood moon
2 tormod crypt
1 bottle gnomes
2 naturalize
1 rack and ruin

8 matches destroyed my mind so i'm not able to write a good report but just some information:

1° match monoblack with red to side blood moon and rack and ruin
I lose first match for a 5 cards mulligan followed my duress and lots and lots of land destructions.
Secon match i played cahlice for 1 and 2 aand then juggernaut and win easily.
Third match i played sotf so i was able to win very very easy since he can't destroy it

2° match stacker monobrown
first match i win with a first turn juggernaut second match i destroyed his karn e win with duplicant and triskelion

3° match keeper
i won first match with a lot of luck, he had 1 life but he had played balance and yawgmoth so he had got a full hand but no mana i had 3 fortest in play a mox in hand, i drew simulacrum take mountain, anger was in graveyard and win Smile
second match i played sotf take some beasts and attacck till he died

4° match dragon
I was simply destroyed i wasn't able to stop it, alsto tormod was stopped by a stifle and i didn't see blood moon

5° match lock and stock
he started all 3 matches with ancestral.... he won first easily cause he started like a god... second i was able to play rack and ruin sotf and naturalize and win, third he played too much welder and smokestack for me

6° match monored
finally one of the best matchuo for me i won both matches thank to sotf, welder and triskelion

7° tentrix
first match i started with chalice for 1 he had got 5 cards in hand .... but he was able to play wheel of fortune in a couple of turn and win easily with a yawgmoth
second match i started with blood moon and attack with my juggernauts and win easily

8° match madness
i lose first match cause he started with a good hand full of counter and i was'nt able to play, second and third match were decided by my blood moon...

i ended with 18 points, just one more point and i could enter top8...

top8:

1) Andrea Garella (Hulk Smash)
2) Yoan Levet (Stacker)

4) Michele Silvestri (Tentrix)
5) Francesco De Giuli (Rector Tendril)
6) Filippo Grigatti (Lock & Stock)
7) Sascha Lüscher (Fish UW)
8) Giuseppe De Luca (dragon)

winner andrea garella (hulk smash)

It's nice to see Fish make Top Eight, but I've never even heard of U/w Fish. Do you know if the person running that deck had a TMD account?

2nd turn vs Rector Trix

I won these games for the 3 stifles maindeck he tried to sac rector  for the therapy but i activated bazaar and use stifle on the ability of rector. Then he draw only lands or mana source

5th turn Dragon (another Teammate)

He dont know very well the mirror match so he tried to win the game using bazaar he discards the dragon and i thank him casting animate dead with wish in my hand for the win.

I know this belongs more in a deck-discussion, but it seems that serenity is an insane card for Fish right now. Landstill, too. With all the artifact-based prison decks running around, this is a great sb card.

Nice to see so much italian action!

Tell me, what's the average age of the 134 tournament players in your opinion?

Were there many full powered deck?

Being a retired player (sort of) this report really helps me a lot by giving me a glimpse of the metagame I'll face, should I partecipate again in a T1 tournament. All those T1 cards sitting on my shelves...
Just to give an idea, in mt last tournament I lost to a Stasis deck while playing a Land's Edge BR deck....

cheers,
Wizbane

Thank you  Very Happy

Tell me, what's the average age of the 134 tournament players in your opinion?

There were a lot of players but i think a medium age can be estimated beetween 20 and 25 years but there were also older or younger people

Were there many full powered deck?

Soon in our league's official site all statistics will be posted, usually we have the average of 65% spoilered decks and 35% non spoilered (we have special prizes for no p9 decks so about all players play full spoiler or don't )

What's the difference between what you label "Lock & Stock" and $T4KS ?

For me, Lock&Stock is the name Bebe gave to one of his creations, an early Prison build featuring Spheres, Smokestacks and Juggernauts.
