How to Stifle Dragon?

Having played a few gauntlet games with my landstill deck against dragon I was wondering how do you acctually use Stifle to stop the combo. Do you Stifle Animate Dead's "When..." ability? Or do you leave a dragon out there with no permants for your opponent? If the Animate Dead is Stifled then what happens to Animate Dead and Dragon, do they both go to the graveyard?

When the dragon dies, Stifle the "when Worldgorger Dragon leaves play" ability. Then their permanents don't come back.

This should be in the Rules Forum.

You Stifle the leaves-play trigger. This means that when the Animate Dead leaves play (because of the comes-into-play trigger), and then the WGD goes to the graveyard, you Stifle then, in response to the leaves-play trigger. So he'll have no permanents at all.
