I've liked the draining ability of black, but I'm surprised they haven't done more variants of Consume Strength.

Consume Body (1BW, Instant)
Destroy target non-artifact creature. It cannot be regenerated. You may have another target creature get +0/+X until end of turn, where X was the destroyed creature's toughness.

Consume Soul (1BU, Instant)
Destroy target non-artifact creature. It cannot be regenerated. You may have another target creature gain all of the destroyed creature's abilities until end of turn.

Consume Anger (1BR, Instant)
Destroy target non-artifact creature. It cannot be regenerated. You may have another target creature get +X/+0 until end of turn, where X was the destroyed creature's power. Sacrifice this creature at end of turn.

Consume Mankind (BRUGW, Instant)
Destroy all creatures, except for one creature you control. That creature gets +5/+5 until end of turn. At the end of the turn, you lose the game.

Consume Body (1BW, Instant)
Destroy target non-artifact creature. It cannot be regenerated. Gain X life, where X was the destroyed creature's toughness.

Consume Soul (1BU, Instant)
Destroy target non-artifact creature. It cannot be regenerated. You may have another target creature gain all of the destroyed creature's activated abilities. (This effect does not stop at the end of turn.) You may spend any mana as though it were mana of any color to pay the activation costs of any of the copied abilities.

Consume Anger (1BR, Instant)
Destroy target non-artifact creature. It cannot be regenerated. You may have another target creature get +X/+0 until end of turn, where X was the destroyed creature's power. At end of turn, destroy that creature. It cannot be regenerated.

Consume Body - The additional effect is too weak for an extra enemy colour.

Consume Soul - This looks better, but the chance for the extra ability to work for you is rather low.

Consume Anger - This is a good one.  Not only can you give your attacker a power boost, but you can kill another creature as well if you want to, thus giving you two-to-one card advantage.  It is my favourite of the bunch.

Consume Mankind - The name does not sound right.  And you may want to try this wording:

Choose a creature you control.  Destroy all other creatures and that creature gets +5/+5 until end of turn.  At the end of turn, you lose the game.

The card does not seem like a 5-coloured one, by the way - making it W/B or B/R would be good enough.

Yeah, some of these will be changed (the B/W and 5-color one).

Isn't the white one a little strong now? Maybe drop the pump altogether, and just destroy a creature and gain some life for 3, sort of like a backwards Swords to Plowshares.

I took your advice. Come on, how does everyone feel about the rest?

Consume Soul is going to cause absolutely hideous rules issues. I suggest changing it to some other ability.

Yeah, we get what you want to do with it, but you should probably say  something like "Until end of turn, target creature gets another creatures text box".  But even then it'd still be pretty complicated with stuff like Keldon Warlord so you may want to word it like Death Mask Duplicant from Darksteel.

Maybe I should change it to activated abilities and some of the keyword abilities.

That might be a little better, but you'll still run into problems. If you could come up with a different approach altogether, that would probably be best.

Consume Anger is confusing when the target for the power pump is not controlled by the caster of Consume anger.  I do not believe it will force your opponent to sacrifice the target of the power pump under the current wording, but most people will assume that it does.

I changed Consume Anger's text to fix the problem Neppy brought up.

I also changed Consume Soul so that it basically looks like Quicksilver Elemental's activated ability stealing.

The white and red ones are fine. The gold one is just a terrible card, from a design standpoint. WUBRG AND you lose at EOT?

The blue one still has some wording issues, but I'm not quite sure how to fix them.

The 5-color one was just terrible, so I decided to scrap that one. What exactly is wrong with the blue one?
