My teammate Andrew(Echo on almost every good T1 site) came up with this format and I had to share it with you guys since there are players here that have been playing longer then we have, you've got to have even funnier old commons and uncommons...

Rather than just re-typing everything Echo typed in our forums I'll just give you the link...

Here's the link

We used to play this a lot when I lived down south..The guy who I first saw do it ran timetwister, and other shuffle effects!!!  The deck was about 18 inches tall.  I've had one together for years...We call it the tower of power (really a name for the format).  I include a lot of crap rares and gold cards, in addition to random stuff from old sets (a lot of legends and dark).  It is really fun to see people pull off tech with some total crap.  The only cards I find are really broken are buyback.  This can be solved by putting in some discard effects.  Landwald abilities are also a little abusive, but I put in plenty of removal like fissure, gaseus form, desert twister, etc, to counter sick creatures.  The worst thing is when you get a Chromium in you ropening hand and never get the right land to play it.  One fun thing to put in for a laugh is millstone.  If you're not doing this where you live do it, it's a lot of fun with 4 or more people.
