I should probably note that I'm sort of a newbie to type 1.  I played 1.5 for a while before actuallygetting into Type 1.

A while a go, I bought a playset of Bazaars for $45 a piece.  Now, with the price as high as it is, I'd like to trade them, but it's hard for me to decide on what I will trade them for.  One guy who plays type 1 at my local store is almost fully powered, and he is willing to trade a few moxen for them.  It's probably worth mentioning that I play Workshop Slavery, so any power is good for me.  Here are some possibilities.  Other suggestions are welcome, but I know for a fact that he wont trade his Sapphire, Recall, or Jet.

My 3 Bazaars
His UL Mox Ruby, possibly UL Mox Pearl (I think it's in color for him), and a few duals, probably UL Seas.

My 3 Bazaars
His UL Ruby, some UL duals, maybe a little more, UL Timetwister (could be PSA graded 8 or higher, according to him.)

The 4th Bazaar I know I will sell, because I can pick up a Beta Emerald for $100, and I should have money left over from selling a Bazaar.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

I play Workshop Slavery

So trade 3 zars for 3 workshops if you need them.

2 moxes and more for 3 zars, or do you mean 1 mox or another? If it is 2 moxen, you are making like $200+

Not as good, and screw PSA cards. Magic is to play, not sit in plastic. I would pass on this one.

Beta emerald should be at least 300 if in EX condition, snag it like a mofo.

Ok, I'll try to get the two moxen, but I might have to throw in a little more or ask for less on the 4th Bazaar.

I think the correct answer to this thread is we all wish we were in your position.  Go for the two mox trade even if you throw in a little.  Even if thade trade ended up being even you can get a beta mox for 100.  man that is one sweet deal.

I guess it's good to have a friend who has a complete set of everything up to Stronghold, who doesn't play anymore, and has doubles of Beta Emeralds.  Cool

Now, if only I lived in the northeast so I could play for more power.  Mad

Put in what he wants, You can never go wrong trading for Moxen, 3 Bazaar + stuff for 2 Moxen is great. Worst comes to worst, Moxen are restricted and have insane, climbing value. Bazaar's aren't and do, if Bazaar was to get restricted, it's taking a hit in the price department, same with Workshop.

It's a really good deal, that and no matter what you do, you come out on top due to paying for bazaar's back in the "good old days".

A little news on the trades.  I may have to trade all for 'Zaars for the two Moxen.  I still think it's a good deal, but he said he has to think about it.  Worse comes to worst, I keep the 'Zaars and build Dragon.  Also, my $100 Emerald was actually UL, but I still think it was a great deal, because it's at least in excelent condition.

Yes, buy that Mox. you'll never find them that cheap.

So 4 bazaars for the 2 moxen? Still seems like an okay deal. It's not as much of a steal as before, but assuming the moxen are in NM condition, it's a good deal still.
