Does anyone know of a deck that is based around just the colors Red, White ,and Blue? If so, what is the premise and could you give us a decklist? Thanks, I am just looking for general ideas because I have 4 Lightning Angels sitting around at home.

It's really old, and it wasn't very strong back then either.
It was basicly counters, some small white dudes, and some burn.

There is an extended deck that revolves around [card]isochron scepter[/card], [card]orims chant[/card], and [card]fire/ice[/card]. You might want to try to add power to it but if I were you I would consider what you face first. Anyway don't you think you might be a little to sentimental?

Ligthning Angel isn't good? I thought everyone liked Ms. America! Most of lightning angels abilitys are irrelivent in type 1. A 3/4 evasion haste guy for 4 wouldnt be so bad, but the three colored mana symbols in its cc really hurt it.

I've heard a number of names for this deck (star spangled slaughter, old glory) and seen a number of different versions.
From my only experience - playing against it in a tornament - I can't say that it is terribly strong. The deck presents a lot of Mana Drain targets, with little else but Forces to protect itself. Siding in REBS was a major windfall for me if I remember - even more control on my side. I was playing U/R landstill at the time.

Good thing I didn't go and try to build it.

I used to run something like thsi with Lightning angel, on eo fmy faviorite creatures, though many slight her. Mana Drain/FOW and Soltair Guerilla were in my build, never took it to a tourney. Mine also had Mana Drain+Inferno in it, fucking ridiculous but so much fun. defector
