Dr. Sylvan insists I post the following.

Quote
For someone claiming to be the nerdiest TMDer, you certainly lack a definitive understanding of comic books and video games.

Mentioned in our conversation were:

I can list off, chronologically, the first and last names of every character in Final Fantasy 6.  Mykeatog has witnessed this.  I can perform similar feats of worthless knowledge in most noteworthy rpgs, and many that aren't, such as the anti-blockbuster hit from the SNES, "Drakken."

The Asteroids machine in the Holyoke Mall had my high score from the third day it was open to the day they closed the arcade and moved the floor.

When I was ten, instead of leave my house to play sports or hang with friends, I did my communication via phone so as to spend more time (hours, every day) calculating spreadsheet data to have an effective experience gaining formula for a video game of my own someday.

I have knowledge of a faster method of beating Megaman2 than the one on TMD months back that started a flame war with Hulk3Rules (two additional glitches and one experience of him just not actually holding the pad down)

I'm well versed in the literature that is the following roleplaying games:
Star Wars the Roleplaying Game (first and second edition)
Cyberpunk
The White Wolf Games (Vampire, Mage, Werewolf, Mummy, Wraith, Exalted, etc)
AD&D (OBviously)
My name comes up more frequently on topic than Luigi in many circumstances (most notably things like magazines and message boards, where you're supposed to submit time records and whatnot.)  Most of these records came from the Megaman series, Goldeneye 007, and the various Mario Karts.  Some things you can't take a picture of, but I believe IAmFishMan was around to view me beating the arcade form of Contra without getting touched the entire time.

I offered to tell him about my acheivements in the field of Brood War, but I think most of those would appear esoteric.  I do have a shirt in my basement though from when they did a contest for the fastest victories and highest points on Omega, the final level of the Zerg campaign.  I made the top one hundred, but I was a couple thousand points away from the top 50, which also received store credit for the now redone Blizzard merchandise website.

I been madpwned, yo.

It was the "I'm not sure if this is still true, but by issue 100, my name was in Nintendo Power more often than Luigi." that got me.

A slight exaggeration that, but even so, I'm definately in there.  I used to have all the stuff my name was featured in pinned to a door, but when I moved out of that room I lost interest in keeping records and trashed it all.
