I have a friend who swears [card]Fiery Justice[/card] is the greatest multiplayer card ever printed. It's almost drinking-game-like in its quality.

Best combo EVAR!
7UUUUUUUUU - Mind Over Matter, Arcanis, & Reveka! =P
But on a more serious note. Congregate can be the nuts in multiplayer, as well as Insurrection and Reins of Power.

Subversion is really powerful but it makes you everyone's enemy.
Limited Resources is terrible in its power and fearsome in its wrath.

Multiplayer's a good time to use the cards high in what WotC calls Plankton and Pigeon. Plankton are cards that benefit everybody while Pigeon are cards that improve in quality the more players there are. Syphon Mind is a Pigeon sort of card. Howling Mine is a Plankton sort of card.
My favourite Plankton: Veteran Explorer
My favourite Pigeon(s): Cackling Fiend Abyssal Gatekeeper Shepherd of Rot

Some of my favourites are: Verdant Force, Seedborn Muse, Genesis, Barter in Blood, Innocent Blood, and, as previously mentioned, Syphon Mind and Syphon Soul.
It depends on how competitive your circle is. Personally, the guys I play multiplayer with don't even goto Pre-releases, so it's acceptable to play a Skyshroud Cutter + False Cure deck, for instance.
[EDIT]: Also, Mind's Eye.

For multiplayer, nothin' beats the old Mirari's Wake/Extraplanar Lens-Seedborn Muse-Mobilization/Nemata, Grove Guardian-Coat of Arms combo.

I've used Gaea'a Avenger a LOT: For only GG1 you get a creature whose power and toughness are equal to everyone else's artifacts in play PLUS one!! With Mirrodin and Darksteel, he's almost always huge when I bring him out.

Rhystic Study is absolutely insane, and if you have the mana for it, so is Mind's Eye.

if you are running red a simple card you can use is sizzle granted it makes everyone made at you but, dealing three damage to each opponent for 3 mana isn't bad.

In my group Propaganda and Soul Warden are used all the time, simply because they buy you so much time to set up. Balance and Aura Shards can be extremly devastating in multiplayer, but they do make you public enemy #1. My personal favorite card in multiplayer is Whetstone, but I've never made the card work succesfully. I never get more then a few activations from it before I die.

I know this won't happen in a tournament, but if my opponent has Chaos Orb in his hand while I'm controlling his turn from a Mindslaver, who flips the card if I force him to play it and activate it?

Chaos Lord is great for an entertaining game, I've seen a Lhurgpyf/Millstone deck and that was pretty savage.
Sun Droplet is sick but not as obvious as Congregation or Syphon Soul.
You can't go wrong with Howling Mine, Mana Flare or Arcane Denial!!

We had vintage night for a while, then people got bored and it turned into Type One Assassins Melees. Only recently did we switch back, but some crazy stuff started happening.
I murdered everyone with rectortrix, it managed to do okay. a few platinum angels w/ diplomatic immunities. favorite thing was when chris let someone borrow WelderMUD w/o the kill. Cuh-lassic.

wow you got me thinking ^_^
WHITE Eye of Singularity Peacekeeper Divine Presence Presence of the Master (of course) Balance (humor sake) Tivadar's Crusade (it may hurt someone and theyll laugh that a card like it even exsists ^_^)
BLUE Shimmer Prosperity Bazaar of Wonders
BLACK Necrogen Mists Extiction Syphon Soul *no need to put this ^_^* Eater of the Dead *gosu*
RED Chaosphere Omen of Fire (death wish im sure, or least make someone waste a counterspell ^_^) Manaflare Obliterate (stupid counter decks in multiplayer) Wheel of Fortune (personal favorite)
GREEN Nature's Resurgence (+ Eater of the Dead so cool!) Dirtcowl Wurm Seeds of Innocence Kudzu
ARTIFACT Howling Mine Jinxed Ring or Idol (any Jinxed for that matter) Bubble Matrix Dingus Egg (? lame but okay) Meekstone Cursed Totem Ankh of Mishra
GOLD Suleiman's Legacy Overabundance
I'm too tired to keep thinking but yeah that was fun ^_^

Armageddon and Land Tax with an Oath of Druids sitting out has made me the target of future beatings. It's soon to be Wrath of God and Darksteel Colossus with Oath of Druids out that attracts the beatings.

Probably the best multiplayer deck of all time is just that. 7 Artifact 3 Darksteel Colossus 4 Nevinyrral's Disk (in case people play ensnaring bridge/meekstone) 6 Green 4 Oath of Druids 2 Gaea's Blessing 5 White 1 Enlightened Tutor 4 Armageddon 18 Black 4 Duress 4 Dark Ritual 4 Syphon Soul 4 Syphon Mind 1 Demonic Tutor 1 Vampiric Tutor 24 Mana 4 Scrubland 4 Bayou 2 Savannah 2 Swamp 4 Polluted Delta 4 Mishra's Factory 1 Mox Jet 1 Mox Emerald 1 Mox Pearl 1 Black Lotus
Yeah, that deck right there will win you nearly every multiplayer game.
That, or play Dragon.
