Ah, but I beat you in our first meeting of the day. Mogg SAVAGE is pretty damned good against Disk, I'll say that. Landstill is the evolution of BBS' "thirty counters and a Morphling" plan. I find it to be pretty resilient, but due to low concentration of broken cards, sometimes it loses control when it shouldn't.

People will go on saying that Landstill sucks, and people will go on T8ing with it. Nothing new here, water is still wet.

And I count far too little praise in this thread for me and my incredible article, dammit.

Ah, but I truly did think you were playing Fish and I we both had SBing blunders.  I kept in Blood Moon and didn't bring in R&Rs, - for some reason I wasn't thinking.

Anyone who alludes to Breakin' 2: Electric Boogaloo, let alone even knows about that movie, is fuckin' sweet in my book.  Although I will admit that I was fairly disappointed with the overall lack electric boogaloo in that movie, not to mention the overall lack of breakdancing as well.  It can't even touch Beatstreet in dancing or plot, but that's another thread.  The one guy who plays the older main character (Turbo in the movie, I think?) is completely sick at poppin' and he doesn't even show it off.  Anyways a fun and informative read as always, although maybe next time you'll finally play a good deck?

I don't know about the Workshop Slaver match, but I do know that Control Slaver usually beats Landstill.

I have good results against Control Slaver; however, most of the games were against randoms on MWS so i'll take your word on that specific matchup.

Because Landstill loses to good players.

Wouldn't this be a better comment? "[Insert Deck Name] loses to good players"

but For Serious, people, that deck is not the best thing to do with your Mana Drains by a longshot

This is true, the only thing you can do with a big mana drain is to activate manlands and play Disks for the most part.  The power of Landstill falls not with it's brokeness but it's ability to adapt to any deck and be extremely resilient.  For example, Slaver would have problems against a lot of artifact removal and Hulk would have problems against a lot of graveyard removal.  Landstill has the tools to stop such things. Like Landstill isn't bothered much by decks that have a lot of mana denial, you have Stifle, Response and even Mis-D(against random LD decks, they do exist).

Mogg Salvage - which is played in addition to Rack and Ruins to destroy Disk. Also, memnarch is very good against Disk.

I have to admit, with Mogg, Rack, and Memnarch, Landstill in it's current form doesn't stand a great chance against MeanDecks current Slaver list.  But also note that current Landstill decklists don't even have artifact removal in the sideboard.  Landstill will now might have to SB such cards like Energy Flux and possibly Rack and Ruin would most likely bring the matchup back to where it was which was in Landstill's favor.

Most UR versions don't have artifact removal.  My UW version runs anywhere from 4-6 artifact and enchanment removal cards.

During my typing of the post I was strictly thinking of UR and not UW which I haven't tested much, sorry about that, should of made it clear to begin with.

i run main 2 x seal of cleansing, side 3 x serenity, 2 disenchants
seem like uw has a strong edge over ur in the artifact mass removal arena

But you lose cards like REB, Fire/Ice and Lightning Bolt.  The only real advantage card UW has is Serenity.  with Seal and Disenchant, you can pay one more and destroy a second artifact with Rack if you decide to add it to the board of Ur.  Both UR and UW has their advantages and disadvantages.  In a very heavy Slaver field I would probably opt for UW but in a more stable metagame where there is also a good amount of Control and Aggro decks I would take Ur over UW anyday.

This doesn't seem to have very good synergy with Nev Disk

I would also run white if the majority of the creatures that I faced had a toughness greater than 3.

Landstill loses to good players?  I don't believe that, not yet.  I would believe that as soon as somebody told me that Fish loses to good players.

Standstill sucks against good decks?  Now that I can buy into.
