If this is in the same hotel that I think it is, it will be a must that we all eat at Harolds, the place connected to the hotel. Famous for awsome food and insanely huge portions.  Ex. We once ordered a Cheeseburger that was the size of one of my friends head.

The attendance was too low, so they had OTE guys playing to try to win back the lotii.

They succeeded, but they did have an impartial judge in Seth Levy, the guy who took second at Waterbury two months ago.

Mykeatog did not play.

For those of you who need to flame people who give away two loti with 24 guy attendance...

all OtE players were playing for there own interests.

I wish this whole grudge thing could end-- I can understand that the guys at OtE fucked up big time in the past, however recently not only has any type of bullshit stopped, but I, a formerly much respected member of this community, have been put in charge of all new england type one events. I hired a judge, and gave out two of the "black lotus" from the unlimited expansion.

I don't understand how when only 20 guys show up to play magic, and me telling some of my back up dealers, or guys that like to play type 1, that they should play as opposed to work-- I still get shit. Dr Sylvan, you are the numbers ninja, can you please post something to to get across that what I just said makes sence? Thanks.

I know OtE has done some shady stuff in the past-- but now you are dealing with Mykeatog's tournaments. I was going to hold a tournament at the end of the month-- but I saw that there was already a cape cod, so I immediatly cancelled, called up my venue and moved the date. What I am really trying to say is I am doing everything I can to make things better. I will give out my prizes no matter what, I will only hold one round two, and I will NEVER-EVER try to compete with another event in the same state that post's BEFORE I do. I will put my adept status on the line, I will put my membership on the line--

There's a large amount of Over The Edge Games affiliates that play T1.  When they do play it's entirely their choice.  They pay an entry fee like everyone else.  We don't "get the card back" if they win.  We don't get the card back at all.  Just because you work with OTE from time to time doesn't mean you can't ever play T1 again.  While I'm glad the rest of this community seems to have settled down on the very stale grudge topic I can't help but wondering Ben why a guy like yourself is flicking a lighter next to a gas leak.  Your making yourself look like an antagonist.  I seem to remember a day when you spent some time getting people to come see me in the notorious executive sweet.  So shame on you slap yourself on the wrist you big goofy hypocrite   Please try to be nice, or don't be at all.  This episode is over, and it's time for a new season.

It wasn't meant to be a burn on OTE.  I played in my own emerald tournament in Hadley last month because my attendance was shit.  

I'm glad to see people are trying to bury the hatchet though.  Don't get me wrong, I think it's great.

I don't much see anything wrong with TOs playing for the prize they put up if their attendence doesn't cover it. You all seem to think it's dishonorable or shady or something. As long as it doesn't impact the efficiency of the event and the judges are impartial, it seems fair to me.

On a serious note, I think (insert TOs name here, I kinda lost track in all the switching) giving away both loti was a good show of integrity, and hopefully a sign of things to come. I like tournaments- I like tournaments with real judges and only one round 2 (not to slam anyone, but its the truth). I don't care who runs the tournaments I play in, as long as they are well organized and fun. New Jersey was one of these tournaments.
