Actually, most of that's true. Except: (Bestiality is against the law in the Netherlands. Sorry.) Not yet. There was an 'incident' a few weels ago, and they're still figuring out whether they can prosecute. and a new CD is 18 or 19 euros ($23). Most new CD's actually cost 21.99 euros ($26.20). Ever wonder why Holland is the prime center for illegal downloading inb the world? |

That sucks, I was thinking about getting my masters degree there, but no good coffee, not being able to play music without everyone getting annoyed at you and stupidly high prices makes that a far less desirable destination.

That's true. Our coffee > everything. Also, it's a fine Dutch tradition to completely ignore the fact that others get annoyed at your behaviour (beit playing loud music or something other). Why do you think our official thread hijacking team is Dutch?
But the high prices are a bitch, yeah. Especially with your weak dollar vs. euro ratio at the moment. Buying food etc. is relatively cheap even since there's a price war going on at the supermarkets.

If the country in question was France, the piece would've been a lot more negative. At least dutch people are cool, and generaly nice and toleratant, unlike the french bastards.
