Go to mtg.com and look up an article called "limited infinity"
Anywho - what do you people think about Door To Nothingness in T4?

Isn't the Door a little strong? If you're banning stuff like Blaze, then you shouldn't use Door either.

Door to Nothingness is broken in Type 4 ...
Engineered Explosives and Bringer of the Red Dawn seem to be perfect fits. The Black Bringer looks too strong, the Blue one is crazy, and the other one are weak. The Green one is probably decent though.

The White bringer actually looks pretty reasonable.
What about the blue beacon? That would be interesting.
Oh, and VEDALKEN ORRERY IS TEH WIN.

Type 4 is the format where you have infinite mana but can only cast 1 spell per turn and every card is restriced and certain cards, like X-Spells, are banned because they autowin the game. If thats what type 4 is, it is incredibly fun and is great for playing inbetween rounds at tournaments.
Like Toad said the Black and Blue Bringers are amazing while the others are either ok or bad. Reversal of Fortune could be really fun and Etched oracle could be strong, as could many of the sunburst cards.

Reversal of Fortune doesn't work, because it counts as your spell for the turn, and allows you to play their spell, but doesn't automatically put it on the stack.
While the Black Bringer is indeed strong, keep in mind that cards such as Aladdin's Lamp and Planar Portal do the same thing, w/o the pain.
Sunburst would be good, but there isn't really anyting to take advantage of it. Skyreach Manta, for example, is a 5/5 Flying. Big Deal. Suncrusher is probably a better Avatar of Woe/Visara, so I'm testing that right now.
Engineered Explosives is officially outclassed by Void and Perniciouis Deed. It would be cool, but it seems like it would just be killing Voidmage Apprentices, Mystic Snakes, and Nantuko Vigilantes that have already done their thing. I could be wrong on that one, though.
I'm itching to get my hands on a Door and Orrery.

While I agree the black bringer is amazing. I feel that the red bringer will be an ultimate bomb in the format needing to be delt with immediatly. Given the fact that you can take a utility creature and with the haste ability use it immediatly or just taking a fatty to attack/take away defences by swinging it into a bigger fatty. The blue dawn of course is amazing card drawing is awesome. The white dawn lets you play another spell (if you have one in the 'yard which is always an advantage (yay another mindslaver!) The Green dawn is probably the least of the 5 while in regular play another 3/3 is nice in type 4 its just outclassed.

We've all been raised on television to believe that one day we'd all be millionaires and movie gods and rock stars . . . but we won't. We're slowly learning that fact and we're very, very pissed off.

Have there been discussion threads about Type 4 on these boards before? I read Steve's article, but I was wondering if people have been discussing other sets as well in the past? It would be kinda neat to have a "definitive" list of cards from each set back from Alpha which are the most fun for this format (kinda like a top 10 per expansion). Also a list of cards to avoid or specific traits in cards to avoid (such as the X thing) would be rather good, too. This looks fun! I might have to start collecting crap rares
