Force of Will + card draw is one of the best combos in T1.  The deck in my mind that most closely resembles a Force of Will deck is Hulk.  Slavery and Hulk both utilize Force of Will to it's near maximum capacity but is there a way to build a deck that has a more stable manabase and has to run less maindeck slots devoted to the kill.

Mana(26):
11XLotusesmoxescryptsringsmon olithsandvaults
15XIsland

Card draw(12)
X1 Gush
X1 Fact or Fiction
X4 Deep Analysis
X4 Accumulated Knowledge
X1 Ancestral Recall
X1 Time Walk

Counterspells(18):
X4 Force of Will
X4 Mana Drain
X4 Mana Leak
X4 Foil
X2 Daze

Kill(4):
X4 Shared Fate

Shared fate might not be good against aggro but it hurts psychatog, control, and combo.  Against aggro you switch the fates to Platinum Angels and side in some control magics.

Sideboard:
X4 Platinum Angel
X4 Control Magic
X4 Misdirection
X3 Tsabo's Web

Shared Fate can be used much, much more effectively than in a bad mono-blue deck. I'm sorry to inform you however that I cannot disclose any more info.

Wow, this paragraph gets my vote for making the least sense in a long, long time. "Force of Will" and "card draw" is NOT a combo. First of all, what exactly does this "combo" accomplish? Secondly, "card draw" is a theoretical element that needs to be satisfied in order for most decks to be competitive. Are you implying that any card that draws cards combos with FOW? If so, I think you're confusing the concepts of essential control elements and "combos".

... and as for Shared Fate, well... hmmm. I haven't tested it, but I would bet all my limbs that it is a pretty ineffective win condition.

Oh, and what makes this deck a "Force of Will" deck? Would it be because it can cast FOW reliably? Doesn't that make 9/10 decks "FOW" decks, or am I missing something?

A FOW deck seems to be a deck that does nothing except use Force of Will.  Rolling Eyes
