I have been playing with this deck for a couple days now. It's concept is to get a first turn Elf or bird, second turn concordant crossroads, elf or bird, skullclamp, third turn recycle or fastbond or draw w/ clamp until one comes up.

The deck is pretty solid against most decks but it's main problem is speed. With a great draw it can go off turn 2-3 but mostly it goes off on turn 5-6

What i am looking for is some backing: should i scrap the deck? Or is there something i am overlooking to make this deck 2 turns faster, i was thinking about splashing some blue for drawing or black for tutoring but i find it disrupts the foundations of the deck too much...

Black is much easier to splash with quiron elves, elves of deep shadow and BoP.

I know the deck seems a little weak for T1 but it actually plays nice. Consistency is the main falling point right now.

I was thinking of maybe removing some of the mana producers and inserting more drawing agents, but i cant find the right ones to use.

Please help... im stuck!

instead of going for the draw-out way, you could instead abuse the new staff of domination. I used to play recycle as well in my elf deck, but now it pales in comparison to the staff of domination. It's really simple, play with tons of elfs, priests of titanias and then staff of domination. As soon as you have an active priest of titania that can generate 5 mana and a staff of domination in play, you win the game.

You should check out the Nitro Elves thread in the Budget Forum.  They run some of the same cards as you, yet their list is faster and more consistent than yours.

Nitro Elves: Likely strictly superior. Check it out Wink.
