Who else is going to a Magic convention this Summer? I'll be at Origins and US Nationals myself, but I don't think that I can make GenCon.

There should be a tournament where the prize is an all-expense paid trip to gencon. Eastman had that idea while urinating at my house yestarday, and I thought it was pretty nify.

I will be flying to GenCon with Scott Limoges and Driving to VA with like 100 people and grabbing a one-night room. As a 16 year old with a summer job, I couldn't get or afford Origins. Oh well, GenCon is strictly better anyway Razz

waSP and I will be hitching a ride down to Gencon this summer with my brother.  I can't wait.  The other major tourneys are so far away.

That's the way the format is meant to be played Ben.  Jeff and I will be rocking the Minnesota crew.  I don't know if we'll be bringing along any of the MN barns though.  We'll try to pick up a couple to reduce gas costs Very Happy

CCC, SCG (tournaments in Richmond are tech!) and GENCON.   Possibly Origins, but doubtful.

Me and a few others from Charleston will be headed to the CCC and the SCG event.

A few others from Charleston will probably also make GenCon, but I unfortunately will not. Sad

I should be at Origins and the SCG thing.  I would consider going to GenCon, but I think I'll be nearly out of money at that point.  We should figure out some way for us TMD-ers to meet up with each other.

At Gencon they have badges for the event (so you can get into the site) a lot of people just wrote their TMD screenname on the badge...it worked pretty good.

I just made the decision yesterday to go to Origins for the first time, but Westredale has backed out for reasons beyond his control.  I'll likely be there with Kowal and/or anyone else who would be coming from the Long Island/NY area.

I'll also be at GenCon, and I'm considering taking the trip down to VA.  Hope to see everyone I haven't met at one of these events.

Just got back from Nationals. I finished 27th overall; the money went down to 25th (so frustrating!). I went 6-1 in draft, and 3-4 in Type Two with Ravager. While a few pros I spoke with dismissed Type One and its players, it was otherwise a very good time.

Oh, and Ted Knutson told me that Ben's "Type One is Bad" article was pre-meditated to get a reaction from the community.

Also, props to Mykeatog Smile

Now, time to get ready for Origins!

I'm once again judging this year at Origins, will most likely finagle my way into running T1 events so I can joke around once again - be warned, Bricks will be on hand for those players who indulge in shady practices. Those of you who have seen me at Syracuse do, in fact, know I'm not joking. Happy Summer Con Season!

Origins is in a couple of days!  I am so kicked to finally go to a major Magic convention.  I'm moving up in the community!  =)

I can't wait to meet as many of you Mana Drainers as possible.  You're all great and I just know that we could all have one hell of a good time if we were to all get together and party!!

Those of you who know me (hopefully I've made some impact here, regardless of how large of one) keep an eye out for me.  I'll write Windfall on my tag too if I wear one.  Anyone that is actually interested in this, PM me and I'll give you my cell phone # if I actually know who you are on these forums.
