1 Daru Stinger
1 Dawn Elemental
1 Phage the Untouchable
1 Dragon Tyrant
1 Force of Nature
1 Arcbound Ravager
1 Avarax
1 Relentless Rats
1 Plague Rats

and i dunno some other stuff in that vein.

Two main themes are
1) good luck putting down a mana base that can handle BBBB, UUU, RRRR (each turn), GGGG (each turn) and WWWW.
2) cards that really weren't meant to be singletons (groffskithur and avarax)

Anyway, Here's what ended up winning the tournament for the worst deck in our area.   I didn't get to see the full deck but it was pretty apparent what all was in it.

The key

1.  Leveler.

The entire deck revolved around the leveler.   Almost every spell was contingent on you playing it.   Things like shrapnel blast, covetous dragon, glimmervoid, and the like.    It was practically unwinnable playing it.

I gave the guy credit he broke the format and won himself a box of mirrodin too for the effort and creativity.

Oh yeah, I did have a rule about walls.   The total power of the non-wall creatures must equal at least 40.   I had forgotten walls didn't count toward the limit.

We used to do stuff like this all the time back in the day, though we just called it playing with Homelands.

Karplusan Forest + Ghazban Ogre power combo  seems like it belongs here somewhere.

Or you can draft a hydroblast, and have it counter your opponent's last-pick fireball. Very Happy

Just to continue the eerie similarities between myself and Jacob, am I the only one who caught this reference?

Seems like CoK gave some new tech to this format with the combo of Time Stop on Panoptic Mirror.

I'm glad at least one person caught it.
