Hi!

Please ignore my bad english, i'm from Austria Wink.

I want to play a Suicide deck and have read many threads in this forum. I like the idea behind suicde and so this is the deck list which i created:

Mana
1 Strip Mine
4 Wasteland
16 Swamp

1 Lotus Petal
4 Dark Ritual

Creatures
4 Withered Wretch
4 Phyrexian Negator
3 Hypnotic Specter
4 Nantuko Shade

Draw
1 Necropotence
1 Demonic Consultation
1 Demonic Tutor
1 Yawgmoth's Will

Disrupt
4 Sinkhole
4 Duress
4 Hymn to Tourach
3 Null Rod

Sideboard
2 Smother
4 Diabolic Edict
4 Planar Void

I'm not shure what creature i should add, Flesh Reaver or Carnophage or Wretched Anurid?

I also need some ideas for the sideboard Wink

Although I am no expert on Suicide Black, I am pretty sure that none of the creatures you've suggested adding will do you much good. Wretched Anurid gives Dragon an additional way to kill you. Granted, Dragon isn't seeing as much play now as it once did, but it's still a formidable enemy. Flesh Reaver leaves you vulnerable to anything running creatures. The days of creatureless control are long since over. Today's control features quite a few creatures - being hybrid aggro/control rather than pure control. Flesh Reaver isn't going to cut it. Carnophage is interesting, but unfortunately, it's a slow clock. You can't kill fast enough with it to make the one life per turn tolerable. Other (new) budget options, such as Blind Creeper and Ebon Drake are quickly overwhelmed by the high speed of Type 1 decks, that will allow for 3+ spells at a very early turn.

As always, it bears reiterating that Suicide Black really isn't a viable deck anymore. The decks that it was designed to beat (namely, creatureless control) have evolved beyond the point where they're vulnerable to the tools that Suicide Black brings to the table. It is an intense aggro deck, which can be fun to play, but by no means is it a winner. Since it is best suited to casual play, the only possibility mentioned above that isn't viable, even for casual play, is Flesh Reaver. Of the others, I am most fond of Blind Creeper and Wretched Anurid.

Did you know that Red is the color or art and music and passion? Combine that with Green, the color of nature, spiritualism, and community and you get a hippie commune of drum circles, dreamcatchers, and recreational drug use. Let's see that win a Pro Tour.

I know that it's not the best deck, but it's very funny to play it. I don't build this deck to win a tournament, i want a deck that's makes fun Wink

I would suggest using Wretched Anurid in the slot that you've not yet decided and then replace Phyrexian Negator with Blind Creeper. Negator is a powerful card in a creatureless environment, but if you're going to be playing "for fun," you're going to be seeing a lot of creatures. That's going to make Negator's drawback pretty serious. The drawbacks of Blind Creeper and Wretched Anurid are considerably more tolerable.

I can't reccomend Withered Wretch strongly enough.  He's black's #2 creature right now, as nearly every deck in the metagame is somehow dependent upon their graveyard.  Even if you're not playing competitively, it's still fun to make them squirm after playing their first two AKs.

Moved to casual.

edit: worthless posts deleted. Honestly, people, there's no need to be insulting, or to flame someone instead of reporting their post.

I would replace
- lotus petal
+ sol ring
The sol ring is a perm mana source, works well to get out the beasts and the fist turn null rods when you need to get them out.

-4 Phyrexian Negatior
+4 Phyrexian War Beast
Only loose 1 life and a land if he dies, Damage to the Negatior can get ugly. Most of your spells are so low to cast, won't set you back much to loose one.

-3 Hypnotic Specter
-1 Demonic Consultation
+1 Null Rod
+3 Night's Whisper
I love the pimpnotic but I think drawing and control are more help. People may disagree with whisper for the Consultation but I would rather have the 2 card draw.

SB
-2 Smother
+4 Contagion
+3 Powder Keg
Contagion is the million dollar side board card for this deck, powder keg is also useful on many occasions.

Problems I have encountered are getting Chaliced for 2 mana and being unable to destroy enchantments.
