That's probably SCG's funniest article this year.

I can't laugh at this, because I see this kind of stuff every day.

Baby Jebus cries a lot. Sad

WTF? No Drop of Honey or Humility questions?

These Type II rules gurus have it easy.

I was surprised to see no mention of the word 'loose', always a favourite of 'loosers' everywhere.

You do realise that every really really bad English post is from a native speaker (well Americans but you get the point).

I can normally tell just be reading if someone is either doesn't speak English as their first language, or if they're just stupid.

One thing that I still find weird is the number of non-English speaking Europeans who add an "H" to the word "ability".

Q: So both me and a friend of mine have Book Burning. It states, "Unless a player has Book Burning..." My question is, can you search your library to prove you have it or does it have to be in your hand, or can it just be in your trade binder?

For some reason this made me burst out laughing hysterically. Did they even finish reading the sentence?

Book Burning (and many other "punisher mechanic" cards) caused a lot of problems, mostly due to people who do not understand the role of commas in English or that the word "has" does not always denote a possessive.  However, another problem was caused by an unfortunate line break that made some who read the card insert a comma where none was.

Consequently, there were many people who were confused by the card for these reasons.

I've heard that there are countries where people are so stupid they can't even vote for the right guy. (runs for cover)

The main problem with Book Burning is that it appealed to exactly that segment of the Magic population that is least able to think. Even barring the slightest understanding of the English language it should be possible to figure out what the card does from an understanding of the general power level of card put out by Wizards (well, since Bargain and forgetting about Skullclamp anyway).
