Although this link only shows two decks, I thought I'd post it, since the first deck list on the page is quite interesting.
http://mtg.bore.org/article.php?id=467There were only 27 players (a lot of players who would have participated were still playing in the main event) with a large variety of different decks. The tournament was 5 rounds of swiss. There were 11 powered decks and the tournament was won by Control Slavery (the second list on the page).
Some other (hopefully correctly translated) interesting things to note:
- An egg tendrils deck managed to create 10 copies of Tendrils on turn 2
- A Sundering Titan once destroyed 10 lands in one turn
- There were 71 pieces of power and 7 Library of Alexandria altogether
- The average number of restricted cards per deck were 8.7
- The most restricted cards in one deck were 21
I couldn't really be sure about how to translate the rest of the tidbits of information, since my Finnish skillz are not up to it (in other words, I'm not sure what they actually say).
Edit I have a few more fun tidbits (thanks r_x)
If you check the comments at the bottom of the page, you can see one deck with 22 restricted cards, but I don't know what it was. It went 1-2 drop.
There was a 3 land Charbelcher deck that managed to go off on first turn and revealed 3 cards before it hit the land. Next turn the charbelcher was activated and hit the last land on top of its deck. At this time opponent had drawn 2 Shadow creatures and Worship.
A Tarpan managed to deal 13 points of damage before an StP hit it. At the time it was Berserked.
Yay! TurboNevyn is still not dead!
Edit Yep, I got some stuff wrong. The TurboNevyn apparently came in like 3rd or 4th and the Control Slaver won, going 5-0. Thanks, Jeikki, for your correction!
