If I cast Yawgmoth's Will and it resolves and say I try to cast a spell, which my opponent counters, can I Force of Will it with if there is a Force and a blue card in my graveyard?  Or does the blue card have to be in my hand?

The blue card has to be in your hand, but the force can be in your graveyard. Will ONLY lets you play cards as though they were in your hand--nothing else

Thanks.  I was just slightly confused because I did that in the tourney and wanted to make sure I was correct. (i.e., blue card in hand)

So just to summarize Animaniacs style
Force in Graveyard, Blue Card in Hand - Good Idea
Force in Hand, Blue Card in GraveYard - Bad Idea
Force in Graveyard, Blue Card in GraveYard - Bad Idea

Technically speaking, your opponent should have countered the yawgmoths win to begin with, but that is an entire discussion on its own. One that doesnt belong in here, but in the "worst play of the day" topic Wink

He could be using a Misdirection, or a REB.

Good point there. He could hack the color of the will to blue though, but that would be a weird solution to that problem Wink

The more common situation is casting a Draw 7 after the Will, like Jar, Windfall, or Wheel.

Ok, I think we've gone well beyond the rules here and the question has been answered, so let's put an end to this.
