Neutral Ground will be holding a Proxy Type 1 Tournament
Saturday, August 7th @ 12pm.

10 Proxies will be allowed

1st Place - Mishra's Workshop

2nd Place - Juzam Djinn

Prizes down to top 8.

Fee: $15

Prize will be Guaranteed as long as we get 16 or more people.

Out last Proxy Type 1 tournament we got 20 people. Numbers are barely ever an issue.

I know last year shops were worth more than twisters. Maybe they will be again, a few broken artifacts and boom. Anyway, I'll be there.

Yeah, there's no way in hell travelling to NY for a workshop at $15 is happening.  I charge $15 in hadley and we give away moxes regardless of attendance.  For someone with such a central location, you guys is wack.

You people are looking at this the wrong way.  I'd rather have a tournament for a Workshop and a Juzam than have no tournament at all.  Sure the prize isn't amazing, but it's still decent with cards well over $100 for first and second.

The way the tournament scene has been improving in the recent past, I think the expectations of the Type 1 community have risen significantly. It is their right to complain now that they have good tournaments to go to, yet still get MOCKED by places like neutral, which could have probably the largest and most regular tournaments in the US if it wanted to put forth the effort and prize incentive to do so.
