I am now officially running 1 maindeck Gaea's Blessing.
Suckers :D I don't ph34r blessing. Anyone who looks at my list can tell that I'm going to have to deck you with Volrath's Stronghold. Owned. Edit: also, someone (I won't say who) found a way to use the whole restricted list fairly--namely, put it all in one deck, and kill with some sweet bad cards. |

Important Note :
We keep receiving Combo decks. COMBO DECKS ARE NOT MEANT FOR CASUAL PLAY. Casual play is all about interactions between players. Not stupid "Oh look you're dead" moves.

We've decided the only way a combo deck is going to be acceptable is if the combo itself is slow enough that you can't just goldfish vs Aggro. Examples from real life include invasion-block "rice snack" decks that had to run collective restraint, and odessey-block/T2 Wake decks that had to run Moment's Peace/Wrath.

Since I actually submitted a combo-aggro hybrid of some sort, I assume that if we don't hear back it is accepted? Or what's the procedure? Also, could you post a list of people who got invites?

Yeah, we're going through the list, so if you don't hear anything, then your deck was fine.
Once we have everyone who's playing, we'll put all the decklists in a thread in this forum, but there's no real point listing all the people who are on vacation or otherwise unavailable. They'll all get invites next time anyway.

I'm aiming to get this started on Thursday. If your list hasn't been sent in yet, send it in post haste. If it's not been approved, I suggest talking to Jacob or Matt about how to keep your power level equal to the rest of the field.

Rudy, I'm planning on having an extra long round one.
Eastman suggested people paired up could play it out fo real AT GenCon, because in his words, "it'd be sweet to be playing horrible decks and drinking beer and have like 2000 people hanging on your results."

Yeah, I've been really busy between school starting and actually getting my license. I keep trying to get everything cleaned up and ready, but I keep getting minor hitches. Once Jacob's feet are back on the ground, we can organize this and spit out the round one.
