Serendib Djinn:
Text (AN+errata): 5/6, Flying. ; At the beginning of your upkeep, sacrifice a land. If you sacrifice an Island this way, ~this~ deals 3 damage to you. ; When you control no lands, sacrifice ~this~. [Oracle 2003/07/01]

If I control a Serendib Djinn and have a Darksteel Citadel in play can I use the citadel as the "At the beginning of your upkeep, sacrifice a land" and never have to actually sac a land? Or would I have to choose another land to sac?

I guess the same question could be used w/ Concencrate Land.

Thank you!

Indestructible
If a permanent is indestructible, rules and effects can’t destroy it. Such permanents are not destroyed by lethal damage, and they ignore the lethal-damage state-based effect (see rule 420.5c). Rules or effects may cause an indestructible permanent to be sacrificed, put into a graveyard, or removed from the game.

So yes, you can choose to sac it and it ends up in the graveyard.  If it is your only land, you must sacrifice it.

Indestructible cards can't be put in the graveyard from either damage or destroy effects. However, if you sacrifice them or remove them from the game, they're gone.

You could Sacrifice the Citadel.  If you do, it is put into your graveyard.

The same applies to a land enchanted with Consecrate Land.

Being Indestructible or having a Destruction replacement effect is no good if you are sacrificing it.

So that means, if I remember correctly, a Mishra's Factory enchanted w/ Conencrate Land will not die to damage effects. Very good.

Well, I don't see what Consecrate Land has to do exactly with Indestructible, but no a Mishra's Factory enchanted with CL will not be destroyed due to lethal damage.
