I'm sure a lot of you have already seen the deck- it was Nick Labarre's quarterfinals? World Champs deck. I messed with it a little to primarily make it Type One legal and additionally to add some nice T1 goodies, without making it too good for fun casual play.

4 Academy Rector
4 Cabal Therapy
4 Ashnod’s Altar
1 Enlightened Tutor
1 Vampiric Tutor
1 Confiscate
1 Yawgmoth’s Bargain
1 Yawgmoth’s Will
1 Serra Avatar
4 Saproling Cluster
4 Priest of Titania
4 Llanowar Elves
4 Fecundity
1 Fastbond
1 Demonic Consultation
1 Pattern of Rebirth
3 Dark Ritual
1 High Market
2 Phyrexian Tower
3 City of Brass
1 Mana Crypt
1 Sol Ring
3 Gemstone Mine
2 Ancient Tomb
1 Mox Emerald
1 Chrome Mox
3 Forest
2 Bayou

It's a really cool deck, and I'd appreciate any ideas I may have overlooked. Keep in mind, though, that I don't want to make it too quick for casual, so a lot of choices that look haphazard have a decent amount of thought behind them.

Edit: In case you haven't seen it before, I'll go over how the deck works so you don't waste any time on it:

Fecundity is pretty much played ASAP. The original build didn't include Duress, which was available at the time, in favor of trying to trop either a Llanowar or a BoP on turn 1. I cut Birds of Paradise, but left the 8 elf engine- they may be cut as well in the future. Per usual, Rector typically goes after Bargain, and then you'll have to find either of the Moxes assuming you've used your land drop, to play Fastbond. From there, Saproling Cluster + Asnod's Altar (with Fecundity in play) will add 1 Mana and +- 0 cards each cycle.

I'd bump Dark Ritual up to four, cut the elves for Elvish Spirit Guides.  Why Pattern of Rebirth and Serra Avatar?

i've played around a lot with this deck in casual.  I've found it to be a lot of fun, although a bit solitaire like once you go off (not good for casual games).  It's pretty cool to play in a Casual Magic tournament (such as those held at TJ Collectibles in Milford, MA).

Anyway, the serra avatar (sometimes replaced by Darksteel Colossus or Legacy Weapon) is in place to allow the combo to generate infinite mana.  The Saproling Cluster/Ashnod's Altar/Fecundity combo allows you to generate an arbitrarily large amount of mana whilst drawing as many cards as you like.  Once you have your entire library in hand, start going through the combo using the Avatar.  When you discard it to the cluster, it shuffles back into your library, and you draw it with Fecundity when you sacrifice your token.  This generates infinite mana.

The problem i see with your deck is that you don't seem to have a win condition.  It wouldn't seem to be a problem to play a single Kaervek's Torch, or, for style points since this is a casual deck, Whetstone to kill with the infinite mana.  Personally I'm a huge fan of the Whetstone kill b/c this is the only way that card ever sees play, and it's funny to randomly mill the top 10,000 cards off everyone's decks (this allows the deck to be good in multiplayer as well).  Torch or Fireball or Stroke just aren't as cool.

other than that, it looks pretty good.  Far more tuned than what i used to play.

The avatar prevents decking when going off. You discard a card for a Cluster to make a token, sacrafice the token to Altar to get 2 mana and a card from Fecundity and discard a card to repeat this as many times you like to get enough mana to kill opponent with Torch. If you play with Darksteel Colossus/Serra Avatar/Legacy weapon you can have infinite mana because they return to your deck when discarded to be drawn again.
