On August 28th, T&T Collectibles will be holding another Dual Mox Tourney. Our last tourney was very successfull and we had over 45+ people.  To accomodate the increasing attendance the next tourney will be held at the Berkshire South Country Community Center in Great Barrington, Massachusetts.  First and Second place will be Mox Sapphire and Mox Ruby, other prizes will be determined on attendance.  Deck Registration will be held at 11:00 and the tourney will begin at 12:00.  Admission to the tourney will cost $20.00 For this tourney we are allowing 10 proxies.

If you would like to email with questions, send a question to TFBeanies@Aol.com

This thread will be updated as I receive more information.

edit: oops I screwed up on location  Rolling Eyes
edit: The Prize structure for the moxes may end up getting changed, the mox sapphire may become a mox jet

Merchant Scroll can be seen as restricted in a way because should you have 2 in a hand, only one is really useful (that is, only one can get Ancestral)."

Damn it, Terry should wait a week so I'll be back at school to go to this thing.

I'm not exactly sure how far away it is from the last tourney site, but it is pretty close.  I would say its no farther than 20 or so minutes away from the last site.

Except that if you're back at school, I will be too, and then you have to go through the man from the East to get your mox.

Terry gave me a few directions and despite his handwriting I'm pretty sure I can read all of it.

His exact words:  Exit 2 off Pike: Go left towards Stockbridge, when in center of Stockbridge(hotel on left turn left there) Follow til Chrissy St. Take Left and  your there.

It seems the prize structure is probably gonna end up being Mox Ruby and Mox Pearl for top prizes.

RIP Mogg Fanatic...at least you are still better than Fire Bowman!!!

I was once asked on MWS, what the highest I ever finished at a TMD Open was.  I replied, "I've never played in a Waterbury.  I was then called "A TOTAL NOOB!"

Good: Large amount of playing space.

Bad: 18 ppl showed up for a dual mox tourney

Good: The 18 people who showed up were all very good and as a result there were no scrubs

Bad: There wasn't anyone getting the first round bye against sui.

Good:  Watching Kill Bill Volume 1 AND 2 on a big screen tv.  and having our food orders organized by one person who knew what they were doing.

Bad: Getting thrown out of the damn community center at 7 p.m. and forcing to play at McDonalds though I and some others found the situation pretty humorous.

Overall, this was probably the funnest tourney I have ever gone to even though I didn't perform so well. I will have top 8 lists within a day or so
