Recently I've been playing type one alot. And me not having a lot of cash do steal decks from my friends and proceedeth to kick their ass. But now I got a job and putting together a deck my friend has. So here's a list any constructive critiscm would be great!

Creatures
4x Meddling Mage
4x Quirion Dryads
2x Werebear
1x Mystic Enforcer

Disruption
4x Force of Will
3x Misdirection
3x Stifle

Draw
4x Serum Visions
4x Brainstorm
1x Gush
1x Ancestral Recall

Search/Brokenness
1x Yawgmoth's Will
1x Timewalk
1x Mystical Tutor
1x Merchant Scroll
1x Fact or Fiction
1x Demonic Tutor

That sweet Jelly we call Mana
4x Flooded Strand
4x Tundra
4x Tropical Island
4x Wasteland
1x Stripmine
1x Underground Sea
1x Mox Emerald
1x Mox Saphire
1x Mox Pearl
1x Mox Jet
1x Black Lotus

See the question that I'm wondering is does Fact or Fiction deserve a spot im the maindeck or should it be replaced by a second Mystic Enforcer. I mean there are some situation where I'd rather spend four mana on a big 6/6 pro black flier other than having my opponent give me crap on a stick with splits.

I've played a couple times and I like the way it works without the second enforcer just the enforcer really helps against tog and slaver. Now I know your think its a big mana drain target but with the MisD's and Stifle normally by the time I'm ready to drop around 3 or 4 turn they will have a fetch or two out that i'm ready to stifle or sumtin like that.

So any question about the deck pm or post a message. It is very consistent.

Adios...

First I would like to say that I like your build.

I've been playing GAT for a couple of month and I quickly removed misdirection from my build, there is simply not enough targets to make it valid, I would replace it with either Daze or Duress. You should really try Duress out, I really like it. It totally owns slaver/stax and 4cc control. I run two but I think I'll make room for the third.

Another thing that I noticed was sort of missing was Cunning Wish, have you ever missed it? I can understand that it's not that great without Tog.

How much do you use Meddling Mage and to what?

Do you ever miss Mana Drain? I guess this build is too aggresive for it to be effective.

I have found Night's Whisper and Opt excellent to dig through my library. Recently I have been experimenting with Impulse, so far I really like it. But I guess they are not that great it this build.

I think FoF does deserve a spot maindeck; 80% of the time there is no right split for the opponent to take, plus it feeds your threshold creatures.

I was just wondering why a deck like this wouldn't run intuiton, and ground seal, shutting off welders and making your graveyard stuff untargettable. No coffin purge!

Unrestrict: Gush, Flash, Frantic search, fact or fiction (probably), and burning wish if it doesn't suck now.

this may be the last time you hear the boogie song.

Doesn't GAT usually run a coupla 'togs as well?
Hence the 'T' at the end of the name.

I miss the Togs, too; they usually provide a scary one turn kill - BTW I'd put in some night's whisper to add a li'l more draw and to keep growing those dryads.

PS Does Mystic Enforcer still work? I've never seen it as the power house most GAT players say it is.

well you see the thing about the Togs in GAT and not in this, BECAUSE ITS NOT GAT!  Your all talking bout GAT when the post clearly says Gro, difference. And if i ran black more id put in maybe one tog but the black is for only tutor/will.

There's no reason to run White in Gro. Meddling Mage is awful, and your not even MDing Plow. You have no source of card advantage in that deck, anywhere. Atleast fit in Sylvan Library.

I suggest you go back to old school Chapin Gro. If you run two colors, you can play cards that actually win games instead of Meddling Mage and Mystic Enforcer. Back to Basics is a house, and you can play with Land Grants instead of Fetch Lands to utilize Root Maze vs Combo and Control.

The only reason im not running swords maindeck is that my meta does not call for it. Mages are a beast against slaver presideboard. And Mystic Enforcer owns other aggro.
