this thread will get unquestionably locked for lack of content, lack of knowledge of the format (door to nothingness WTF !), and possibly a lot more. Please read the forums rules next time.

Marton it would be great if you read the rules as well, especially Dr.Sylvan's rule 4 section C.

Basically lorrum, your deck has no focus. There is no harmonic theme throughout the deck and there really doesn't seem to be a whole goal to the deck. You run a lot of 1 and 2 of's that seem quite random.

Mana base: Take out manlands, your deck needs to be able to abuse manlands to use them, such as Fish or Landstill. Take out Cloudposts, without ways to search for them they are awful in even T2, without ways to search for them in T1 they are just unplayable and horrible acceleration. Take out Gilded Lotus, unless you are playing Workshops, this card is not that good. If you want to try and run the mana denial element through Wastelands and Stifles, you need to run 4 Wastes and 1 Strip. Solemn Simulacrum is also just inferior mana acceleration in T1.

Basically your deck can go two ways, one being a la 4cc, which if you browse this forum and have power you could make the deck. Or if you have power this deck can turn into something such as Drain Slaver. You really can't make unpowered versions of these decks. If you want a semi-budget deck that I could see putting together with your cards you might want to try something such as Landstill.

Hope this helped and welcome to TMD. Read a few of the decks out there and see where you want to take your deck.

After reading the rules i should probably flesh out my information some.

I have access to all the moxen and a black lotus.  I own two workshops and many other T1 cards that i know or think should be added to this deck which I might add is very interesting as long as i can hold my opponent off.

The typical environ i play in is heavy aggro but there are a few people trying to keep sui and dread alive and the thing is its working.  In my matchup against sui i generally win since i have so much counter althought late game is iffy probably because i haven't added the power but if i have out the angel its generally game over for them.  Deeds just doesn't do it. and i use all of their mana to case out my stuff and pay for the doors high cost *NOTE*--since its all white.

The Dreadknought ---well I can't even seem to sideboard well against this one.  It comes out of the gates with a Duress and then by turn three i am looking at 2-knoughts or 2-EATERS OR 2-SOMETHING BIG AND BAD, if not more.  If i use counter on his mask he uses counter, counter I feel lacking in the spell department to keep him off my back.

Heavy aggro like mono green or speed burn  i basically just burn up its own fuse.  Generally relying on fast mana which i counter or early cheap surprises which i counter.  My biggest problem isn't creature based decks but combo intensive decks.  I fear the slave deck.

Hope that clears things up some for you.

So.... you have tons of power, but you choose to play this deck (and with no power)?

Heavy Aggro metagame definately calls for 4cc or even landstill. Those decks provide alot of counterspells and many ways to deal with aggro such as playing an Exalted Angel or Disk.

I don't really see how you say my deck doesn't have a theme. If anything I think that it has theme.
Yes I have power and have yet to put it in the deck I like to play around with multiple ideas before changing the deck to its optimal performance.  I guess I would drop  the cloudpost and add the two moxen also the lotus but that cuts my mana base somewhat.  Okay so now I go with fetch.  Do I add workshops?

Next, Sol. similacrum pulls out land for four colorless and its a chump blocker to draw.  In other words I thinned my deck, got a land, and took no damage from their attack unless its a dreadknought and drew a card.  Wtf I find its useful all for four mana.

I have a hard time balancing my decks so I keep in mind I only want 60 cards and then I play test to see what is necessary and what isn't. (Gulps and Guilty) perhaps my numbers are somewhat random, but you can help right (looks hopeful).

I know landstill and 4cc are topnotch and I have thought about incorporating landstill into the deck as a secondary win condition but well I haven't done it yet and have yet to fully determine the impact on my deck.

So far in Weenie vs void I haven't been beat  I just Force of Will their early stuff and throw out Plat and her protectors or I Drain and use Celestial Dawn so now all my stuff is white. Nev. Disk is a great idea I just don't have any. Laugh it up i know i have power but no disk hahahah.
And I can see where the Guilded lotus are slowing me down but with the cel. dawn I can't use workshops b/c it changes them into plains.

The Void

MANA
        4 Tundra
        2 Mishra's Workshop
        1 Mana Crypt
        1 Mox Sapphire
        1 Mox Diamond
        1 Black Lotus
        1 Gilded Lotus
        1 Thran Dynamo
        2 Wasteland
        2 Faerie Conclave
        2 Flooded Strand
        2 Island
        2 Plains
        1 Sol Ring

NO
        3 Swords to Plowshares
        3 Stifle
        3 Force of Will
        3 Mana Drain
1 Oblivion Stone--add one to SB
        1 Moat
        1 Nevinyrral's Disk

COMBO
        3 Celestial Dawn
        3 Door to Nothingness

DRAW/SPELL
         2 Tinker
         2 Bazaar of Baghdad
         1 Ancestral Recall
         1 Time Walk

CREATURE
        3 Solemn Simulacrum
        2 Leonin Abunas
        3 Platinum Angel
        2 Academy Rector

I think this version has more theme so to speak.  It isn't much varied from the first and still no Landstill additions to it.  But more functional, yes?

Tinker's restricted.

When these guys say your deck has no "theme" they mean it lacks focus and a clear goal. It's a bunch of bad cards quite frankly, and it looks like you threw a bunch of half-strategies (some from other formats) together into a deck with absolutely no synergy and some flat out suboptimal choices like 3 Force of Will, 2 Wasteland, Thran Dynamo, and an amount of Door To Nothingness greater than zero. You don't have a way to sacrifice your own Rector, nor do you have anything worthwhile to fetch with the rector (if you can cast and send rector to the GY, you can much more easily drop a Celestial Dawn).

Your deck is not going to work, it's not going to receive constructive criticism here, and it's not even in the right forum. You're asking us to put more work into your horrible deck than you put into it yourself, and it shows.

edit: and wtf does this mean?

This sounds much better and sorry about the double tinker

Drop Conclave add another wasteland and strip mine
Drop Moat and put it in SB
You can only have one Tink in the deck --in truth I knew that- typo.
B of B changed my mine not combo with them and eventually i lose so gotta go
In its place add another Mox and a Brainstorm
Drop one plat. angel and add another Brainstorm
To replace moat and and additional Tinker add two more Brainstorms.

Brainstorm will also protect me against Duress

I was raised to be polite and use my intellegence to help not jump down some poor newbie's throat about how she posted wrong.  You all are yelling out complaints but you aren't saying much  if something is wrong with the post please point it out.  If my decks off pretty please point that out too but for gods sake be constructive in your critisism.  Evil or Very Mad

now i could drop  a sword and a celestial dawn to add  2 wrath of gods so that the Rector can go somewhere and i can have backup board control.

This implies a casual approach to building a deck, so I will move it to where it belongs - the Casual forum.

I dont understand why you choose to run mediocre cards, when you have the biggest card pool to play with.

Why run Wrath of God, when you have Balance?

The Bazaar engine is good, but it should only be used in a deck that can abuse it better. Since you're running artifact creatures, why arent you using Thirst instead?

Also, you havent explained good reasons for your mediocre numbers of disruption. Why only 3 Mana Drains and Force of Will?

As for the Door to Nothingness, I have no idea how in the hell you're going to get that into play, because no one in their right mind is going to let you have access to all 5 colors anytime soon. And please dont even say that "That's what Academy Rector is for." because only idiots are going to kill the Rector without winning this turn or whatnot.
